When it snows my driveway is on a hill and my car is in park it rolls backwards down the hill and ill look outside to find it moved from were I left it. Now for the last few weeks if I park at the store, school, job and get ready to go try to shift the car on drive when I step on the brake to shift it I hear and feel click sound and cant move the gear.
Vehicle hasn't retained correct amount of fuel. Vehicle has electrical and mechanical issues out of no where. Driver seat has issues that will not allow for the seat to incline but only recline which happened while driving on city street. I'm scared to drive vehicle and I've only had it for almost 2 years.
Air bag light will be on, or flash periodically when already fastened. Had an electrical fire in the left side of steering column 7/27/18. Cruise goes in and out. Dim/bright light comes on when using turn signal. Ignition switch locks up from time to time where key can't be removed and steering wheel locks up or you can remove key but switch is still engaged. Vehicle has been in motion when most incidents occurred and lockups occur depending on what position the steering wheel is in (adjustable). The electrical fire happened just as I exited the highway from a 30 minute trip after releasing the cruise control button. Luckily I was only 4 blocks from home. Cfd was called and they dismantled the column, extinguished the fire. I was blessed. This could have been worse!
Brought my 2007 Saturn Vue to repair a powerful gasoline smell around the rear of car, near gas cap. Said it would cost $332 to lift out fuel tank to see where the problem was. 4 hours later, mechanic said the tank was drenched with gasoline because the lines to the fuel pump were crimped and cracked so there was gasoline leaking out. (wonder why I was refueling so often?) I need a new fuel pump costs $600. I'll be sure to use my 10% off coupon. The worst part was no engine light ever came on to warn me!!!! Also within the last 10 months, I have had the battery replaced, 2 new lift gates, brakes and new tires. I have always been good about oil changes/maintenance but I guess new cars are only supposed to last 10 years. Bummer!
I was driving at highway speed about 60 miles per hour stepped down on accelerator a little harder in order to pass somebody and the throttle stuck wide open engine was racing car was speeding up. I tried to use the brakes but they were insufficient I shifted the car to neutral pull over and then turn the engine off when I start it again the problem was gone. I do not wish to drive this car until this is fixed
My car developed a dangerous crack in the fuel pump. As a result fuel would leak out and a strong gas smell was pervasive. I was told I should park the car immediately due to the danger. The mechanic also told me that this was a "very common" issue with my make and model of car. I did some research and found multiple other models of GM cars, including Saturn (but not the Vue) have been recalled for that exact issue. The recall was even more specific for cars in "warm weather states" including nevada. I am the original purchaser of the vehicle and it has been registered and used in nevada all it's life. I have tried to contact GM about my concerns at the lack of recall on this part, and been met with only silence. …
The security system resets it's self very often. I throttles the speed randomly and when you finally get stationary it locks up the fuel so there is no way to start the car untill you do the relearn process which takes 30 min or longer and your lucky if that works. Yes this has all happened to me. I've owned the car for 3 days now and last time it was driving was the day I brought it home after buying it.
Tl contact owns a 2005 Saturn Vue. While the vehicle was idling, the contact noticed a strong gasoline odor coming from the fuel tank. He took the vehicle to the dealer and they stated that the fuel line turbulent injector system was separating, which caused fuel to leak from the fuel lines. The vehicle has not been repaired. The contact filed a complaint with the manufacturer. The current and failure mileages were 47,985.
