Electrical problems have been occurring. My lights keep getting dim, then bright. Check engine light is on, the truck is making a loud noise, overheating, battery draining fast. Please note that the battery is new, starter is new, water pump is new , I got new engine fans, radiator and the truck is still running hot, battery dies over night. I need some help this is my only vehicle and I've spent thousands of dollars trying to get this truck right over the years. Are there any affordable warranty plans available for assistance?
My air bag did not deploy in a front end and rear end collison where I was hit at a dead stop and the truck was going 60 MPH. Car was repaired by geico repair shop in tampa, fl. The air bags still don't work and the light still off and on whether someone is sitting there or not. The dealer will repair for total of $900.00 or more. I recently smelled fuel strong in the car and outside. Took to dealer and I see others complaining too about this. No ne informed owners that there is a special warranty to repair part of the problem for free. The fuel pump was cracked with only 43K miles on vehicle. The vent solenoid was not covered yet it is stuck in the open position and defective but I had been charged extra 302.00 and would like to know why they didn't include in the recalls? Both of these items were found defective but only one was recalled privately. …
On 11-10-16 we smelled gas outside the car after exiting the vehicle. We took it to our local mechanic. The nearest GM dealer is about 20 miles from our home. They checked the problem, found the fuel line on the fuel pump module cracked and leaking. They said we would have a fire soon if this was not repaired immediately. They removed and replaced fuel pump module. We paid for the repair...$592 for part & $200 labor. After repair, I called the dealer to see if this was a common problem with our vehicle. They said, yes, there is a "open service bulletin" for that vehicle with a reimbursement clause. We took the required paperwork to the dealer. They found that the reimbursement clause expired 7-31-2014, but there is no expiration if it is repaired at a dealer. If we had been aware of this problem or requirement, we would have taken it to the dealer. …
2007 Pontiac Torrent with a strong gas odor near the rear of the car after parked. Upon putting the car on a lift, discovered gasoline leaking from the top of the gas tank. Researched and found recalls on this models in certain southern states, but, not in illinois. I have found many complaints about this but are not in the recall states. There is a problem with this vehicle and it should be recalled to avoid a dangerous fire or explosion. This vehicle could be registered in a recall state and it would be covered under the recall. This doesn't make sense. Was a deal struck with general motors? The recall number for souther states is NHTSA campaign number: 12V459000 (fuel system, gasoline)
Vehicle purchased new from quebedeaux Buick in tucson arizona. Serviced for defective parts twice: visor accessory, struts all maintenance up to date, oil, filters, breaks, etc. A couple of weeks ago the car was emitting gas vapor smells. Within the week it became progressively worse. Took vehicle to certified mechanic for check up. After diagnostics, several other exhaust testing, he pulled the gas tank to see where the leak was coming from. The fuel module was cracked. Replacement GM part was ordered and installed. ($673.16) part only. Upon inspecting the original part, I inquired on the part number etched on the OEM part. GM p/n 15804318 this part number can?t be found on the GM parts lists. …
I just bought this SUV hopping it would be better than my little Saturn I had and more trusting. But so far it has proven not safe to put children or baby's in. The seat belts either don't iach or don't unlatch. I just had to replace my EVAP at 111,687 miles. I seen that other people have had the same problem and it has not yet been a recall at all. And the engine makes a chugging sound when in park while running. It sounds like it wants to die and not stay running. I notice that when I was at a gas station. I will not put any of my children or my family's children in this SUV because of the problem I am having. It's a safty hazard that needs to be taken to consideration. I hope this gets looked more into before someone dies or a childs life is taken.
