Electrical problems have been occurring. My lights keep getting dim, then bright. Check engine light is on, the truck is making a loud noise, overheating, battery draining fast. Please note that the battery is new, starter is new, water pump is new , I got new engine fans, radiator and the truck is still running hot, battery dies over night. I need some help this is my only vehicle and I've spent thousands of dollars trying to get this truck right over the years. Are there any affordable warranty plans available for assistance?
Airbag light is on and off even when my sister who is approx. 140lbs sitting in psgr seat. This was recalled for 2007 but should add 2008. This vehicle was only built as limited edition between 2007 and 2008. We had a rear end and front end collision and airbags did not deploy when car was total in back end. We were actually hit and pushed on top of the car in front of us to the middle of her roof. They repairs car at dealer and still air bag light and reset several times and still goes off and on whether someone sitting there or not. Dangerious..... The vehicle was stopped and impact was a pickup truck 1992 heavy duty hit us at approx. 60 MPH. He never hit breaks and we kept going til I was stopped on the roof of the other vehicle. We are lucky to be alive. Sister after two years is still suffering perm injuries for life. …
"ignition switch" I am continually having problems with my ignition switch getting stuck, it takes a few minutes but there is usually a click and then it releases. It appears that this is an ongoing problem. My concern is that I am not sure what actually needs to be fixed. I have read enough reviews that it could not be the ignition switch that actually needs to be fixed, can you tell me what is it that has to be repaired so that I do not have to sink tons of money in trying to find out what is actually wrong with it. I have 176,000 miles on my car and I have loved this car. It is and has been a great car, not perfect but a great car. I think in the life of the car I have had to replace a faulty spark plug, a window motor on the drivers side and it is still sluggish so I don't think that was the only problem. The rear window wiper motor has went out. …
Vehicle would not start. Jumped battery to get started. Stability control light came on. Steering wheel would not turn. Shut off after letting run to charge battery. Shuit off. Vehicle will not restart and the key cannot be removed from the ignition. This is the second time this happened. The last time the power steering motor control and the stability control module was replaced. All this while vehicle was parked in my garage. Vehicle has 26000 miles on it.
1. Key locks in ignition 2. ABS light, traction control, brakes warning light , airbag and stay on. . Brakes lock up ,tires roll wont stop, pulsation then brake pedal to floor. The lights stay on no GM mechanic can repair. 3. Clicking, tapping and burning smell coming from under dash and steering column. 4 .when it rains puddles on passenger side and driver on floor of car like the doors are not lined up with car. 5. High beam lights come on by themselves cant turn off drain battery electrical problem. 6. Steering locks in turn. Backend of vehicle not balanced rides sideways.at high speed. Im sure someone has lost a life in these defective vehicles if a study wa s done professionally from 2006 to 2015 . These defects would be the cause . I paid 20,000 for this vehicle no one can repair .that's why production was discontinued to prevent lawsuits. …
I have a problem with the heat and defroster in my car. It does not work, and thus causes major visibility problems because the windows cannot defrost. This is a safety hazard, which, if left unrepaired, could cause a wreck. I took the car to a GM dealer, and they diagnosed it as a broken temperature blend door. I've done some research on this issue, since it is quite costly (about $1100) to repair. I found that GM has previously repaired this free of charge to the owners because this is a manufacturer defect (special coverage/policy adjustment 11135). The actuator had been designed poorly, using plastic instead of metal. This causes the plastic to break when the actuator over-rotates. This problem violates the federal motor vehicle safety standard number 103, which states the standards of having a working heater and defogging/defrosting system. …
