What owners report

I bought a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix gt2 and I have had a =few problems with it that appear to be quite common the problems are below through 1quart of oil approx every 1000 miles *trouble starting when it has already been warmed up. Ie after I drive around town and go into a store I come out and try to start and it dies right away. It can take up to 6 tries to get it started. I usually have to press the gas to get it going. *headlamps bounce *blower motor keeps blowing even when the car is shut off. After research I have noticed that these problems are all very common in the 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix. I do not think its right that Pontiac has not taken responsibility for this. I bought my car about 3 months ago, I paid $11,000 for a car that is burning oil like crazy and obviously has a bad motor. I think Pontiac should be held responsible.

It was raining outside and I was driving at normal speed when two cars in front of me the man started to go through a yellow light and instead immediately stopped. I could not hit my brakes hard enough to prevent hitting the caravan in front of me and the impact was hard enough that it should have deployed my front air bags, which it did not. In addition, I had my seat belt on and it loosened and my head hit the roof of the car causing my head to have a cut and start bleeding and my left side after going to the er and having x-rays, was found to have severe tissue bruising from the impact from the seat belt and my air bags not deploying. I need a front end cap to get my car fixed and being on disability with two children, am on a fixed income and I feel that Pontiac should have to pay for my parts and labor so I can continue to drive my vehicle.

The windshield wipers worked intermittently. This occurred during a rain storm . The consumer took the vehicle to the dealer on 3 occasions and the problem was resolved temporarily. The wiper would not go far enough towards the a-pillar. The dealer readjusted the left wiper arm. The vehicle engine stalled. While driving 40 MPH and above the vehicle would vibrate. The technician determined that the driver's side front tire was out of balance and the passenger's side front wheel was out of round. . The cd player stopped working while it was playing. The turn signal switch broke off the steering column.

A month prior to the fire my car smelled like there was some kind of leak. Smelled like gas. On February 10th, 2008 my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix gtp caught on fire and was totaled. I found this summary on a local website, "summary: certain delphi fuel pressure regulators, p/nos. Fp10020-11b1, fp10026-11b1, and fp10027-11b1, sold after January 9, 2007, as aftermarket equipment for various passenger vehicles listed above. The universal pressure regulators (upr) were produced without an o'ring and retainer. Consequences: fuel May leak, possibly resulting in a fire." I am pretty sure that I am a victim of this o'ring failure. I am without a car and $2,000 in the debut because of this fire. I would like some answers and some results.

Major window failure, only one window works, and too expensive to fix. My car has 70,000 miles and I have had fuel pump failure, total radiator failure, and two heat exchanger failures resulted in radiator fluid all over passenger side floor due too cheap crimps on heat exchanger which requires a hugh dash dismantle to fix, window failure, dash heat and A/C control failure. The car gets driven 11 miles a day to work and back and we have put $1000's into this piece of crap. Dealer and manufacturer could care less and want this website removed. No one is willing to do a thing. Will be switching brands asap to Dodge or Chrysler.
