What owners report
The rear end air suspension stopped working and will not raise the vehicle to the proper height. This caused the vehicle to become unstable in the rear and difficult to fully control the vehicle. With a wet road it becomes much worse as the rear end will lose contact with the road even at a much lower reduced speed. I've noticed several other Armada's with sagging rear ends and I've read several threads online with owners. After experiencing this first hand as a CDL-A driver. This is very dangerous and Nissan doesn't appear to care one bit about this issue with their high end product. Please help us do something about this before someone gets hurt or worse, thank you for your consideration in the matter.
Bought this vehicle in 12/23. Problems with battery drainage, electrical problems, vehicle won't start and then it will. Bought a new battery in 2/25 same problems happening. This is a defect in this vehicle. Steering failure. System won't connect to my phone. Had alternator checked battery check consistently so many times. There should be a recall on this truck. I have been stranded so many times. I consistently pay my payments on time and never been late. I didnt expect to run into these problems with this vehicle. This is not good for nobody to go through with this unreliable vehicle.
The rear crossmember subframe on my vehicle is completely rusted out which caused serious suspension issue and cause the control arm to be in contact with the fuel tank. It didnt go through the tank because i found the issue on time and stopped driving the vehicle but it caused damage to the tank. If I didnt stop driving the car it was just a matter of time before the control arm perforated the tank, which could have been a lot worse with a risk of fire. This looks to be a common issue with Nissan cars so I'm not sure how there is no recall for it. I keep the vehicle maintained properly and bring it to the dealer for repairs. The dealer also performed a lot of work on the rear suspension of my car a couple of years ago but never mentioned anything to me about this major rust on the crossmember subframe.
My 2011 Nissan Armada started shaking very badly 8 months ago. Around that same time I had all 4 tires replaced. I took the car back to the place that put my new tires on (National Tire and Battery) and was told that the rack and pinion assembly needed to be replaced. They wanted $800-900 for the repair and to leave my car for 3 days which I could not do due to having only one vehicle. I took my car to a mechanic that dealt with electrical issues as well (Motions Automotive). They did what I felt like was a quick fix because the owner told the mechanic what he needed to do but the mechanic did a ride along with me, vocally stated what he wanted to do and reassured me he would do his best but the owner took precedence. …
I have problems with my car in the braking system, suspension, transmission, hydraulic steering system is pouring oil all the time, it is impossible to drive the car with the steering wheel so hard. The fuel gauge is damaged, all the time shows that have gasoline but has nothing I trust that the car will come out good but failed leaving me in the middle of a desert mechanically stuck in the middle of nowhere. I decided to leave the car and fly to my destination my question is Nissan can go get the car where the car is Nissan could provide help outside the U.S. The car damage on a mission back to the states as I could not finish the mission because Nissan is mechanical damage, I lost my job, leaving me no money to pick up the car can Nissan pick up the car? Outside the U.S.
1.vehicle front suspension felt loose when driving over some bumps on road, almost lost control happened while driving 45mph and at 65mph unsafe to drive. 2. Fuel gauge sometimes not reading correct amount of fuel showing half tank when almost empty could get stranded. 3. Compressor for airshocks on rear leaks causing unsafe driving.
Brought my 2008 Nissan Armada to my dealer for an alignment ahead of a road trip with my family. Was told the vehicle is not safe to drive. The frame was rotted and cracked, and that the rear wheels have shifted. This condition is completely hidden unless on a lift. I have owned this vehicle since new.
The gauge can indicate that the vehicle has 1/2 tank of gas 153miles remaining until empty when in fact the tank is nearly empty. While driving on highway my 2 children, my daughter friend and myself the vehicle began to drag, I was like oh my God it feels like it's going to cut off. I immediately had a anxiety attack trying to figure out what was happening because no warning lights came on in which had me panic even more. I tried to calm down and get off to side of roadway at least before it did shut off. As soon as I started to drive off to side it shut off I tried to give it gas nothing and the steering wheel had tighten up(no power)so now we was rolling and I'm trying my hardest to steer so we wouldn't hit anything. It was the most scariest moment of my life and my life flashed in front of me and praying no trucks came flying. …
