Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2012-2017 NV Cargo and NV Passenger Van, 2013-2015 Titan and Armada and 2011-2012 Infiniti QX56 vehicles. Due to a manufacturing issue, the air bag inflator may not function properly or may rupture during deployment.
Remedy: Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will replace the front driver air bag inflators, free of charge. The recall began May 7, 2020.
Seat belts › Front › Buckle assembly
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain model year 2015 Nissan Armada vehicles manufactured April 30, 2015, to June 5, 2015. The affected vehicles may have been built with driver or front passenger seat belt assemblies that may not properly latch or that may not unlatch when the release button is pressed.
Remedy: Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the both front seat belt buckle assemblies, replacing them as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on September 14, 2015.

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain model year 2015 Nissan Armada vehicles manufactured September 15, 2014, to October 14, 2014. Due to interference between the parking rod and the transmission housing, the parking pawl may not fully engage.
Remedy: Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the casting date stamp on the transmission housing and replace the affected transmissions, free of charge. The recall began January 19, 2015.

Air bags
The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked and occupied, the air bag warning light illuminated. An independent mechanic was contacted. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the air bag system needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V188000 (AIR BAGS); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was 106,229.
Air Bag indicator Light on, failed clockspring. Checked and verified by two certified dealers: C&E Tire and Auto on 10/17/25 estimated repair: $2,024.28 Nissan of Clearwater, FL on 10/28/25 estimated repair: $1,842.31 This model has recalls for airbags, but NOT my VIN#. Please answer why the 2015 Nissan Armada has recalls with its airbags, my 2025 Nissan Armada has a failed airbag, and my 2015 Nissan Armada is not covered?
Seat belts
Takata recall - I see there was a recall on 15V501000 regarding seatbelts. I was never notified of any recall etc until I starting having an issue with my seatbelt light not turning off on the dashboard. I can Nissan and they said there was no such recall for 2015 Nissan Armada.
Drivers side seat belt will not stay clicked. Took to auto repair place and they said it was broken. Would like to reimbursed for the repair as there are several recalls for faulty seatbelts. The vehicle was parked when seatbelt stopped working.
