The driver and passenger left /right front side tires are disfunctional when I turn the steering wheel the left and right side I here the bearings popping and the tires also dis functional and the this car is burning a lot of oil the dealer ship where I'm buying it from said everything was working fine the car was well taking care of the belt on the car is cracked it hasn't had a tune up at all the air conditioner isn't blowing out cold air.
April 11, 2014 I was traveling up 85 north to atlanta between 9:30 pm & 10:00 pm. Just outside of macon county on mile marker 45 there was a car speeding in the work zone where signs were up saying unleveled road. I exchanged lanes to the right side which was the paved side and came near the bridge and hit a hard bump which made my car hop up and slam down hard. I had to pull over and stop because my tires were smoking. My strut bottomed out and was sitting on my tire making it not drivable because the tires were rubbing against the strut. Two other cars hit the same bump including the state trooper that came to assist me. I called my insurance but the couldn't pinpoint where I was. So I ended up calling the state trooper and had to pay out of the pocket for towing back to montgomery. There were no signs or cones in the road to notify that there was a rough bump in the road. …
I purchased my vehicle used from a dealership here locally, and have had problems with it ever since I bought it in late May of 2007, my brakes have started to squeak, I overheated due to either a faulty water pump and/or thermostat, and I have noticed that the steering pulled slightly to the right, and I put new tires on it and it was aligned before purchased. The dealership I bought it from May only be able to run a diagnostics on it, and might not have the tools to fix it. The nearest Mitsubishi dealership is 180 miles away. Warranty covers water pump and a rental of up to $35 a day, but in order to get a rental, I have to get a diagnostics done to make sure it is a covered component under my warrany I won't be able to get a diagnostics ran for at least several days, leaving me without a vehicle. Dealership refused to loan a car off of the lot.
I have a 2002 Galant, and at 30,000mils, I had to replace the front brake rotors, and the brake pads. I was told it's not covered under the warranty terms. There's severe vibrations, and rotational noise noticed when driving at 60mph and above, and I took the car back to the dealer, they told me they repacked my bearings, but the noise and vibrations still continue to surface. Although the dealership tried to help me, while the cars is still under warranty, but I don't think they know the problems themself.
Me and my wife were driving about 45 miles an hour when the rear end of my car started sliding I try to correct the fish tale but the driver rear tire and rim folded under the car which cause the car to flip several times no airbags deployed the car was so crushed I had to dig down into the ditch to free myself from the car upon taking a closer look I realized the sway bar had pulled apart from both sides of the rear of the car also the main support of the rear suspension had broken in too therefore causing the car to flip we could have easily died in this crash and 2 year old and our 6 month old would have no parents.
There is a rattling noise coming from under my car (2001 Mitsubishi Galant). This is a noise that I have never heard before. So I took the car to two different mechanics and was told that the noise is due to a defective suspension rack. My car is only 4 years old and only has 44,500 miles on it. This is a manufacturing defect. I called the Mitsubishi dealership in town and was told that the warranty had expired and that I was out of luck. But this is a major repair (the part is expensive, about $750) and it it not due to wear and tear. A suspension rack is not supposed to break on a 2001 car with only 44,500 miles. Is there anything that can be done? I can pay for the labor but I believe that Mitsubishi is responsible for the damaged part. Thank you. Catherine carlile
Consumer took vehicle in to dealer for a noise that was coming from front end. Dealer told consumer it was front passenger tire. Consumer took tire to Goodyear dealer to have it inspected. Dealer said it was not the tire. Consumer went back to Mitsubishi, and they claimed that they adjusted air pressure. As starting to drive noise was still there. A week later, dealer said they received a paper off computer indicating that Mitsubishi was aware of problem. Mitsubishi said tire and rim were not meeting up.
Front end feels shaky at high speeds, going over rough roads and bumps, & changing lanes at high speed. Vehicle also tends to pull to the right while driving. I have taken the car into the dealership on two separate occasions the first time I was told nothing was wrong the second time the control arm bushings on both sides were replaced. The problem persists and I do not feel safe driving this vehicle . I never received any paperwork regarding lemon laws at time of purchase nor was it mentioned. I need help.
