I recently received a notification from Mercedes-Benz concerning a safety defect in my vehicle, and to be honest, it's really concerning. The issue is with the fuel pump impeller in certain models, including mine. If this part malfunctions, it can cause the vehicle to suddenly lose power, potentially leading to accidents. Imagine driving on a highway and suddenly losing all drive power! The scariest part is that there's no immediate solution. They've informed me that the remedy isn't available yet and that they will contact me when it is. This has left me feeling unsafe every time I turn on the ignition. I'm sharing this because we might all be using our cars for trips or outings, and I believe it's crucial for everyone to be aware of the situation. I don't feel safe driving this care very time risking my life, and more over paying for damaged car Best regards, [redacted]

My car had a coolant leak last year a hose broke and I have a 2021. My son's mercedes sis the same thing on 11/23/2025. I have researched ma y others with this same issue. There should be a recall on that hose or whatever the problem Is.
I purchased this 2020 Mercedes-Benz C300 only two months ago and have driven it less than 3,000 miles. The Carfax report shows consistent maintenance and regular service history by prior owners. While driving, the check engine light came on and the vehicle began shaking and running roughly. Diagnostics by Peachtree Imports (10/03/2025) and later by Mercedes-Benz of Atlanta South confirmed Cylinder #2 failure on the M264 2.0L engine at only 26,589 miles. The dealer's report states: "Cylinder #2 mixture formation out of spec. Fault occurred due to worn exhaust valve seat. Cylinder head replacement required." Estimated repair cost: $10,470.66. This causes misfire, loss of power, and unsafe drivability. The failure matches Mercedes-Benz Technical Service Bulletin LI01.30-P-072328 (2021), which documents valve-seat leakage in M264 engines requiring head replacement. …
The component that failed was the fuel injector and spark plug. A few months prior to this incident, I was making a left hand turn, when the accelerator completely gave out. I was making the left on a blinking yellow arrow, luckily the on coming car was not coming at me fast or I would've been in an accident due to the accelerator failing. I had to pull over, turn the car off and then back on to reset it. I was told by the dealership service center that they could not find anything and that there have been no complaints or recalls. After about 8 months of owning the vehicle, it started to have problems turning over when the engine on/off button was pressed. I was repeatedly told that they could not do anything if it did not happen in the dealership service center. …
The contact owns a 2019 Mercedes-Benz C300. The contact stated that the vehicle would shut off soon after being cold started with several unknown warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where a diagnostic test was performed. The diagnostic test showed that the fuel pump was defective and needed to be replaced. The contact drove the vehicle for a few days after the diagnostic test but experienced the failure a second time. The vehicle was then towed to an independent mechanic for a second opinion where the contact was given the same diagnostic result; however, the contact was informed that the vehicle was included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V961000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The contact went back to the dealer but was informed that the vehicle was not included in the recall. …
