The contact owns a 2015 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while the vehicle was either idle or while driving at various speeds, the steering wheel, seats, and dashboard all would sporadically start to vibrate. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was then taken to the dealer who advised him that they did not recognize the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that while conducting his own research, he found there were many complaints about what he was experiencing with his vehicle. The manufacturer was notified about the failure and advised that he contact the NHTSA for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 30,100.
I bought a brand new CR-v ex-l based on excellent reviews from consumer reports and edmunds. I expected the car to be perfect. However, Honda sold me the defected car without any notice even this defect was known for months. The issue is a vibration during idle. For example, when I stop on the traffic light, the passenger seat starts to shake. If I release breaks vibrations will go away. It is not normal. I noticed this problem 2 months after the purchase (or 600-700 miles). Then I went to the dealer and he told me that Honda's engineers were "working on it", no solution was found yet and I had to wait for a further notice. Visible vibrations mean that there is mechanical resonance in the car. An example of destruction due to mechanical resonance would be a collapse of tacoma narrows bridge. Thus, my safety concern is that the car can be damaged structurally. …
Honda CR-v 2015 vibration . Last year I purchased a 2015 Honda CR-v and as with most other owners, it has a bad vibration issue while at a stop in drive mode with foot on the brakes. I also vibrates at low speeds between 40 -50 MPH and around 70 MPH. I has been in the shop 4 times but still vibrates while stopped in the drive mode (in gear with foot on brake). I have filed a complaint with Honda corp and they said even with the 4 suggested repairs which has already been preformed on my car by the local Honda service center, this will not stop the vibration issue and that Honda has no other known fix to stop the vibration issue and that they will not replace the car. The local Honda service center verbally acknowledges the vibration issue but refused to put it on the service report that there is still a vibration issue. I see all the post from other owners with the same issue. …
The Honda crv ex-l 2015 idles rough/vibrates profusely when in drive/foot on brake. The steering wheel, headrests, items in the cup holder all rattle/vibrate vigorously when the vehicle is idling at approx. 550-600 RPM. Even the back seats carry the vibration of the vehicle. My children (back seat passengers) now complain of nausea/headaches when in the vehicle for prolonged periods of time. This is much more than an 'annoyance'. This is extremely distracting to the driver, causing the driver to potentially loose focus on what is important, which is safe driving. I've had passengers comment on the vigorous vibration as well. We have brought the vehicle in for service numerous times. The vibration/rough idle was indeed confirmed; however, there is no way for the service dept to fix. A service request has been sent to Honda as there is no 'fix' at this time. …
This is regarding a brand new 2015 Honda CR-v bought from a Honda dealer in northridge, ca. Started noticing a vibration of the seats when I stopped at a red light(in d gear with brakes fully pressed). Being a hot day, I thought it was the A/C causing the vibration. Later that day, without the A/C running, the vibration had increased. I reported this to the dealership and was told to bring it in when my accessories would arrive in a few days. Checked into service department with the car after a week and the service mechanic claimed that this was normal. Upon insistence, he brought out a similar car and showed that the vibration existed on that car as well and that they cannot do anything about it. …
My brand new 2015 Honda crv for first 2 days it feels wonderful. From day 3rd car is vibrating like a message chair on stop light. And dealer or Honda doesn't have any solution! I am real not fill safe while the driving this car and even I didn't get any response from Honda and my dealership. Honda dealer and America Honda are aware of this issue. Just google for the issue and you will know. My brand new 2015 Honda ' crv is vibrating like a message chair on stop light (ideal) and drive d. Honda seems they are not considering me a good customer but how can I forget that I spent 25K+ on the car which is just a headache to drive, not safe and get it fixed. It is vibrating really worst and engine make so noise which is not as usual. Honda and dealership are not take any action for that I went over there two times but they don't have any solution. I have brought a brand new Honda 2015 crv from one of the Honda dealer in san leandro, ca. Few days later, I noticed some vibration on the front seats of the car when I am at the stop sign/signal with car is in the drive mode (d) with my foot on the brake paddle. The vibration is random and not always but can be feel at the back of your body and it is very strong sometime that as a driver you get distracted and feel very uncomfortable while driving. If you have to are stuck in some traffic jam and have to stop longer then the vibration on both the front seat is quite noticing and causes irritation on the back and you cannot sit for long in while the seats vibrating. And I reported the issue to the dealer, they told me they are helpless and cannot do anything and asked me to contact American Honda. …
I purchased a new 2015 Honda CR v in November 2014. The test drive was perfect. However, I began to notice slight vibration in my driver's seat at stop lights and anytime car was idling in drive with foot on brake. I contacted mt local dealer who told me I must contact Honda corporation and open a case file on my car. I contacted Honda corporate and was told they are investigating but have no idea if or when this vibration can be stopped. The vibration seems to get worse as mileage increases. The car had 3,400 miles on it when I decided to trade the crv and take the loss financially. I paid cash for the car, but the vibration seemed to get worse daily and felt it was not worth the risk to jeopardize my possible safety. I am very, very disappointed with Honda and will no longer purchase any Honda vehicle.
My brand new 2015 Honda CR-v is experiencing strong vibrations in idle when in drive. I can feel the vibrations in my seat as I am in idle, but it is most noticeable when the passenger seat is empty as it shakes aggressively from the vibrations. It's annoying and its distracting when driving. There are many complaints on the internet on this issue but Honda is calling it a "characteristic" of the car. I've called the dealership twice now but they have no fix so they are basically telling me I am out of luck at this time and to wait it out. I've also made a phone call to Honda America and awaiting a call back on my case. A brand new car with this price tag should not have vibrations when in idle. Many consumers are worried about the long term effects of this vibration to the car.
I recently purchased a 2015 Honda crv with serious vibration issues at idle. I first noted the vibration at 420 miles at a red light. I brought it to the dealer to be checked as vibrations intensity increased around 800 miles. The dealer did nothing, denied knowing about the issue, and notes: "customer states the car has a vibration when stopped and foot on brake. It comes through the brake and the seat base and the back of the seat. Can be felt through the whole car. Has been happening since 450 miles. Verified customers concern. Honda is aware of customer reports of this concern. Honda is actively reviewing reports and testing. Since review is in progress no product review is available." absolutely unacceptable.
