On May 25th, 2016 I was driving my 2010 Ford Mustang down vineville avenue when a car stopped in front of me and my car came crashing in to theirs, my front end of my vehicle went under the tail of their car, upon impact my airbags did not deploy. On that day I was getting another chance at life ,thankfully I had my seat belt on ,because I could have been easily another addition on the list of fatalities. I contacted Ford about my air bags not deploying and they had me to take my vehicle to riverside Ford in macon ga for testing on July 8th. After performing two test Ford still couldn't figure out why my air bags didn't deploy . Ford finally did one more test and they concluded that the air bag sensors went under the vehicle and missed all of the impact of the accident.because of how the vehicle was made. …

I rear ended a large jacked-up truck that had a steel tube bumper at 50mph. The trucks bumper grazed the top of my front bumper and did extensive damage to my front end where the radiator exploded and the hood is touching the engine. But my airbag did not deploy at 50mph! When I hit the truck my car completely shut off right after the impact, but so did my ABS, advancetrac traction control and lights and chimes started to go off. If my car shut down due to the impact at 50mph why didn't my airbags go off? Thank goodness no one was injured, but someone else May not be so lucky. With a lot more jacked up trucks and steel pipe bumpers I think Ford and other car manufactures need to focus on a new safety feature and not just rely on the bottom section of the bumper getting hit for the airbags to deploy. …

When I enter the year, make, and model of my 2010 Ford Mustang to check on Takata recalls, I receive the message that there is a recall on the drivers airbag. If I just enter the VIN for this vehicle, I receive the message that there is no recall on that vehicle. I received (in the mail) a few years ago that there was an airbag recall for my vehicle. The Ford dealer said that they did not have replacement airbags in stock. I have checked with them several times, and still have the defective airbag in my vehicle. How and why was my vehicle removed from the recall? I received information from tk holdings concerning Takata airbags and wonder if I am now unable to file a claim should something happen in the future concerning the airbag in my vehicle.

Takata recall - received recall for passenger frontal airbag inflator recall in July 2016. (note: driver side has been repaired). Have called Ford for repair and as of today they still cannot give a date when repairs can be completed. I have no other choice but to minimize any driving on this unsafe vehicle. Yesterday, I received a legal notice from tk holdings inc. Concerning the airbag inflators informing me that Takata corporation has filed for bankruptcy. It is obvious that Takata has no plans to make repairs so I request that dot force automakers to standby their products and expedite the repairs or remunerate owners for the retail price of the vehicle..
