While driving the car started beeping. Took a minute to figure out the climate control which was set at 72 was automatically going down to 60 (it beeps as is changes settings). Tried to turn in back up and it went down, turned it off and it came back on. Did this all the way home. In my driveway, with car turned off, it continued beeping. This has happened 6 times between April 27th and August 30th. Some times it goes up to 85 degrees and sometimes down to 60 and there is no stopping it while driving. Ford has updated computer twice and replaced it once. Waiting for call back from Ford to schedule another appointment. I feel this is a safety issue as there is no controlling it and it's going to extreme low and high temperatures, as well as the continuous beeping. Extremely distracting. I have yesterday's incident on video. …
Forward collision warning.this system is supposed to warn you that the car is stopped at a light and you approaches car or if he pulls in front of you slows down quick to give you sufficient time to stop.on my car you have to be 10 feet from the other car or at times it doesn't work at all. To prove this I have run many tests. The dealer says when following closely behind a vehicle or one stops quickly in front of you the red lights are not coming on the and activating the driver assisted braking. They have not been able to find any trouble and they say everything is working correctly. The said also the front crash sensors are not working and being too close to the vehicle front of them. …

The right passenger front door latch was replaced with the same defective latch part that has a recall, this door is intermittently sticking which is making me extremely nervous that it is going to fly open while traveling down the road with my toddler or someone else in the car, along with passengers on the road. I am in fear of being locked inside of the car as well, being that it doesn't have any key holes! The door has stuck approximately 5 times since the "repair" at fairwary Ford in burgaw, nc. Also when I place my car in reverse and press the gas pedal there is a delay sometimes before it starts to reverse, this can be fatal if someone is ever behind me!
I saw on news that you were investigating power steering issues on the Ford Fusion 2012. This is a problem I have been having with my Fusion 2012 almost from the beginning. The vehicle was purchased with less than 10 miles on it and the issue started happening around the second month. I hear a ding and then the power steering goes out, the brakes paddle requires a lot of pressure to engage, and the accelerator paddle is not as responsive. Two error messages appear on the display, "power steering assist fault" and "service advancetrac." I mentioned it to the service department at the Ford dealer and he ask me to take a picture of the messages next time it happens and bring them in. I took pictures and brought them in, I'm then told that I have to bring the vehicle in while the error messages are showing in order for the mechanic to diagnose the problem. …
All four tires had to replaced by me after only 12,000 miles. Two of the tires blew out. Power steering failure occurred while I was driving. Service advancetrac is also no longer working. I have tried taking my care to a Ford dealership but they refused to fix anything. They told me the tires were my fault, and I told them either they think I am stupid or they were not the sharpest tool in the shed if they think I believe any of these issues were my fault. I called Ford and they were no help. They told me it is up to the dealership if they decide to fix anything because the dealership is not owned by Ford. I currently have less than 20,000 miles on this car and I bought it brand new . Ford is a horrible company and does not honor their warranty . The dealership I took it to was park place motorcars in dallas tx. …
While taking a freeway exit ramp, an alert popped up on my dashboard and my steering immediately became labored. I wasn't doing anything unusual at the time, so my immediate assumption was that I had a flat tire. I began to slow as I neared the exit ramp, and at this point my dashboard showed a "power steering assist fault" error and a "service advancetrac" error message, which resulted in the loss of all power steering. At this point I pulled off the highway and into a parking lot, shut off my car, and let it rest for approximately 15 minutes while I read the Ford owner guide for more information. After inspecting the engine and finding nothing unusual, I started the car and the power steering had returned. I have not experienced this issue again and it has been 24 hours, but I'm still weary of traveling at higher speeds lest my power steering suddenly fail again.
