While driving at highway speed, the vehicle, a 2011 Ford f-350 Super Duty gave a warning to pull safely over - with no warning the engine stopped. Thus rendering the steering and the braking significantly degraded. Thankfully, my wife and I were able to pull into a nearby parking lot and wait for a tow to the Ford dealer. A customary use of this vehicle is to tow a trailer often with heavy machinery. Thankfully on this day there was no trailer attached. This situation warrants an immediate recall. If I had been traveling down an incline or on anything less than a straight road. This incident could have been catastrophic.
