After starting my van on the morning of 02/06/2014, my low tire pressure monitor alerted me of low air pressure in one of my tires. I checked my tires to see which tire was low, and noticed the tread separating from the left rear tire. Because of this tire condition I inspected my other three tires and noticed all of the tires had slight tread separation. I quickly made an appointment to replace all four tires at belle tire of belleville, mi. At this time I wasn't aware of any recall on my tires. After reading an article about tire recalls on feb,24 2014 for my vehicle, I called Michelin to see if my tires were part of the recall, but without the old tires I could not prove the type of tire I had, they would not pay for the replacement of my tires. Okay I understand that, but my tires only had 36000 miles and had tread separation. …

On 11/05, at highway speed in heavy traffic, dry-clear day, I needed to stop aggressively due to unknown traffic situation ahead. Spongy brake pedal went to the floor, no ABS activated. Swerved onto grass shoulder to avoid an accident with other vehiclesto complete stop. 11/8-brought vehicle to dealer. Dealer claims the ob computer shows no incident, and could not replicate problem. "larry" dealer service rep claims they do not bleed brakes during replacement. "larry" also indicated that ABS not working is typical in the first 1,500 miles of a brake pad replacement.

The tires on my Ford 2000 e150 are "peeling" ... The outside rubber on the side of the tires is peeling away and exposing the "fabric" beneath. (it's like the veneer peeling off a piece of furniture.) this is reminding me of the tire problems Ford had several years ago. The tires on my Ford e-150 are michelins.
Felt strong vibration and than loud noiuses as tire shredded. Vehichle did maintain a straight line as I brought it to a safe stop. Firestone dealer feels it was caused by a nail. Van was in dealer 2 days prior for a safety inspection and nothing was noted. (dot number: w2m2jba339 tiresize: p25570r15)
