It's not only related to my particular car. I moved to the US two years ago and was surprised how INSAINLY DANGEROUS driver side mirrors all of the American cars have. There is always a HUGE blind spot. People keep saying that if I adjust my mirrors properly there will be no problem, but it is not true. I've been driving for more than 10 years and now, at least once a week, I find myself in a dangerous situation. The bad thing is - it's is impossible to find a convex mirror as a replacement here. I can't believe that researches showed that the flat mirror is safer than the convex one (is there any research btw)? What's a point of installing flat mirrors on a driver's side? I went to a web forum and found this page: [redacted] (apparently form the UK) posted 2 pictures on 03/06/2023 with American's standard mirror and the convex one. Look at the difference.
On Wednesday, [redacted] I was driving on [redacted] between Daytona Beach, Florida and Jacksonville, Florida. My Dodge Challenger's windshield suddenly cracked while driving when I transitioned from the newly resurfaced left hand lane to the lower, not yet resurfaced, right lane. Two cracks immediately formed from the left a-pillar. There was no impact from an object that caused this to occur. The component that failed was the windshield. My safety was put at risk as my visibility was no limited due to the cracks in the windshield glass. Two separate Dodge dealerships have inspected the vehicle's windshield and taken digital photographs. No, the manufacturer themselves have not inspected the vehicle or component. At least not in person. There were no prior warnings to the windshield cracking.
Rear backup camera will sometimes either be distorted or have a black screen while in reverse. This is a safety hazard as dodge challengers have large blind spots and makes it difficult to see when backing up without the rear camera. This has almost caused me to hit another car and pedestrians as it's hard to see them due to the blind spots and not having the assistance of the camera. While driving in the rain, the front windshield will have streaks across the whole window, making it very difficult to see while driving in the rain. Windshield wipers have been replaced several times but issue continues to happen. The breaks will shake when breaking. This causes the car to not want to break at times. …
Since the day of delivery, the 2018 Dodge Challenger I purchased from Carvana has been non-operational due to a dead battery and significant engine problems. Despite multiple attempts to start the vehicle, it required towing to the dealer for repairs. Additionally, the car was delivered with illegally dark tint on all windows, including the front windshield, which is not compliant with California state regulations. These issues have rendered the vehicle unusable and have not been adequately addressed, posing safety and compliance concerns
After first service and flash update an error message came up stating service rain sensing wipers.I had no function of the four sensitivity settings just low and high.the dealer said rain sensing wiper module was faulty.it was replaced and message went away.the first rain a couple of weeks later they stopped in the middle of the windshield.I was in the middle of a five lane hwy at 9:30 at night for aprox 15 minutes.returned it back to the dealer and after five weeks they said my car was not equipped with rain sensing wipers.but it had them when I purchased the car. Sinse May 2015 my wipers work when they want too.my car has spent 40+ weeks at dealer with no repair. They will come on by themselves or just toggle and stop.this is very dangerous at night while raining.I have video that I have shown several dealers. …
While driving home on the washington capiltal beltway with my sunroof fully retracted it was a loud boom and exploded. There were small pieces of glass on me and my seat as well as glass all within the inside portion of my car.
