On May 17,2010 while driving to college, I noticed a loud whining rough sound, and every time I hit a bump it would sound like something was loose coming from my tires. Before, I could stop to see what the problem was, my steering wheel locked and my car ran off the road when I attempted to regain control my Sebring over corrected and entered a counterclockwise spin. I crossed 5 busy lanes before striking a ditch. My car stopped opposite direction of oncoming traffic!!! July of 2013 I had my lower control arms, and ball joints replaced. And again in February 14,2014 I had to take my car to the shop again for lower ball joint disconnect and replace lower control arms. And again this year February 24, 2015 for the exact same thing; replacement of lower control arms and lower ball joint. This car is very hazard I was blessed there were no injuries in 2010 when I had my accident! …

For the past several months , my tires have been losing air- I thought that perhaps this was caused by the extreme temperatures. I continued to make sure my tires were at the correct level. Three weeks ago, I had a blow-out while traveling home from atlantic city, nj.. The tire was replaced the next day... A few days later, the new tire, as well as the others, continued to lose air..I brought back to the service station and was told I would now need another tire. All tires continued to lose air- I brought to the service station again and it was discovered that all my rims are cracking and the sharp edges are cutting into the stem valves and causing my tires to go flat. I have now had to replace 2 tires that should have lasted me quite a bit longer and this problem will continue to occur as long as my rims are in the condition they are. …

I happily bought a new Sebring convertible in July 2002. I bought the "complete" 7/70 extended warranty because I am a single woman and do not want to worry about repairs. During 2003 and 2004, I experienced frequent "soft" tires. During a rain storm, I hydroplaned on highway 41 and lost control. Luckily, there was no damage to anyone or the car. Only my nerves. I would test and fill the tires frequently. I was frightened to drive during rain/snow because I did not feel control due to the tires not gripping the highway. I was told I needed new tires and that they were not covered under warranty. I bought new tires in dec. 2005 at sears, had the alignment performed. I continued to have soft tires. Sears replaced the tire valves, and had to smooth the rims twice. I now have to check and fill the tires with air 2 - 3 times a week. …

My wife and I were driving in southern missouri from memphis, tn. We were on I-57 (I think that's the road number we were on at the time). We had a blow-out in which the tire body (the tread of the tire) separated from the rest of the tire. I recall seeing the intact (or at least apparently intact) tread of the tire rolling into the median of the highway, while I was trying to keep control of the car and avoid an accident with other traffic or even having the car roll over. The result was that the tire was flat, my wife and I were stranded on the side of the road miles from our home in memphis, tn and we had to replace both the tire and the wheel, which had worn down seriously since the tire was no longer present. We had to call roadside assistance to change the tire because when I had the tires rotated on the car, an air-wrench was used and the lug nuts were too tight for me to remove. …

I purchased 2 each Eagle ga p205/65r15 tires for the local Goodyear garage on jan. 20, 2007. I initially wanted to purchase 2 other tires but since they didn't have those in stock, they told me they would give me these tires for the same price as the other tires. In May of 2007, I had to have both valve stems replaced on the tires and again in November of 2007 because the tires kept leaking air. I purchased the tires at with 53861 miles on the car. I currently have 74747 miles and was told aug 15, 2008 by the same Goodyear store that I needed new tires because the tread was down to 3/32. After they called corp and I complained, I was told Goodyear wouldn't replace the tires until the tread was at 2/32. My tires leak air constantly and the tread wear is very apparent. I was told it was probably a suspension/non rotating tire problem. …

First I had continuous oil leak so the pan or some part was ordered and installed. The oil is still leaking out of that pan or part? That was a couple hundred bucks including checking the constant flickering oil light which now just flickers and I pay it no attention. The second issue was a computer chip or something, the car would just not start so I took it in that was 800 something by the time the car was going again. The third issue was the connecter that has three hoses to it went bad and smoke came from under hood and when I opened it the water was spraying leaking and of course empty which was another 300 bucks after towing parts labor etc... The current problem is the steering which I don't know what's wrong with I just do my best to stay in the lane. …

Forced to replace all my tires once, and bring my car into ntb multiple times regarding my tires going flat despite that the car could sit in my garage all week, after speaking with ntb they said they deal with these things all the time, a Chrysler pulls in and he can tell you exactly what is wrong with it. The wheel rim on the chrome ones, are corroding causing a rim leak, this causes many uninformed customers to go out and buy brand new tires when this is not necessary, it also forces customers to waste time either by having their car checked out every month b.c of these leaks or make them stop at a gas station and fill their tires up with air like I do. …

Tl* the contact owns a 2002 Chrysler Sebring convertible. The vehicle was parked when the contact noticed that the tires were partially deflated. The contact added air to the tires but found that the tires were exhibiting a slow leak. The tires were replaced three times but the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop where the contact was advised that the rims of the vehicle had become pitted over time and was allowing air to leak. The mechanic also advised replacing the rims. The rims were not replaced and the failure persisted. The failure mileage was 70,000 and the current mileage was 125,000.

My front passenger tire was low and would not keep air. My tires are original to the car. I thought that I just had a slow leak. Took the car to repair shop to have tire checked out. Was told by technician at repair shop that the chrome is severely peeling off the rim causing bead not to seal. The technician said he has never seen anything like it and that my wheel looked like it was ten years old already. Was informed by them that the chrome continually flakes off and doesn't allow the bead to seal to the rim. They noted this problem on my invoice.

Dt: the wheels corroded from the inside at the center hubs. This happened on all four wheels. The consumer took the vehicle to the dealer for a state inspection last week and the inspector found this problem. Contacted manufacturer, and was told to take the vehicle to the dealer, but this was not covered under warranty. The consumer was going to replace all four wheels, one wheel was almost completely corroded. Consumer was still driving the vehicle. There was no mailing address provided for the dealer by the consumer.
