The brake booster corroded and the vacuum lines were damaged due to the corrosion causing the brakes to go out on the freeway. There is an active recall on the brake booster but when brought to chrysler they state the vin is listed in Canada (I live in Indiana in the USA) and not effected yet the part numbers match, there is no water shield that is supposed to be there and chrysler refused to take care of the issue that I had to spend 750 out of pocket. When I stated the part matched the recalled parts to chrysler they just said they would send a customer feedback form but there is nothing they can do. I have had my mechanic save the part in case it's needed. I almost crashed on the freeway because my brakes gave out due to a defective part and I'm basically being told to kick rocks.

ABS, Parking brake and traction control systems error items showing on dash. These error items indicate that the ABS module needs to be replaced, however Chrysler can no longer supply this part and the dealer has said that they have tried unsuccessfully to install a used part and also am after market part which would not work.

On July 4 the ABS light came on for no reason several times , staying on for long periods of time. There was a clicking noise in the steering colum and wheel . It sounded like it was coming from the left side. On July 5 , I was driving to work on a back road with several curves . The ABS light came on again . Clicking was still happening as well. All of a sudden I felt like I was sliding on a sheet of ice. I swirved from side to side and could not get my car under control. Then my vehicle was on two wheels on the passenger side . Which then slide off the road and down a embankment turning several times and landing on the roof of the car. The air bags never deployed. I am now suffering with a broken collar bone due to the accident.

In 3 weeks time the car stalled midway in the highway while driving as if it were going to turn off. I took it in for repairs and it was the shock plugs. Then the brakes were not working. I took the car to replace all four brakes. A day later the battery light came on. After driving my son to school the car pulled back and shook and shut down. I took it back in for repairs and it was the alternator. Today the windshield wipers froze midway. This is the most unsafe car and all should be recalled in general.
