When I hit a bump, speed bump, water, rain, anything of the like, I get the stability control light and ABS light, yesterday 9/13/79 I recieved the 4wheel drive maintence needed as well when I had the Trailblazer in auto 4wd, this isn't the first occurance and I believe this is going to end up being a danger to people especially those in the northeast, as a former firefighter I have seen what these failures can do not only to the car but to the people as well, for this I believe there should be a recall, so as to repair these issues. And make the Chevy brand reputable again.

The engine lights come on, then the car starts chugging and shuddering and sounds and feels as if it will shut down. I am not able to accelerate. This is a serious safety risk in traffic, especially if driving on the interstate. The car will not move at anything over 20 MPH, if it even accelerates at all. I usually end up coasting to the side of the road and shutting the engine down. I let it sit and turn it back on and it May or May not let me go again.

While driving the 2008 Trailblazer I started to experience a loss of brake pedal with the travel going all of the way to the floor, with hardly any braking function or stopping action. It was intermittent and would not happen more then once or twice at first. Then when I was in a parking lot, the brakes failed again and I hit a cement divider damaging the bumper of the vehicle. You would be driving the vehicle, and step on the brakes as you would be coasting into or coming up to a stop. You would let up on the pedal then hit it again, the 2nd time loosing all brake pressure and function. I had to take the vehicle into the GM dealership for service. There were no fluid leaks, or any type of brake rotor damage. The dealership came back saying that the master cylinder had failed on the vehicle. This is on a Chevrolet truck, 4x4 that is supposed to be heavy duty off road capable package. …

This issue occurred about 6-7 times throughout my 15 mile trip. My travel was on a highway and speeds were between 55-68 m.p.h. At the onset of each occurrence. I would hit a bump in the road (not a major one ' just a bump) and then the 'stabilitrak active' light would be illuminated in the dash continuously blinking like it's stuck. Then: -the truck would become sluggish dropping speed and knocking off the cruise control -you can't accelerate -the steering locks up sort of causing it to feel like the truck is out of control, this occurring at highway speeds -the amount of power used by stabilitrak was immense ' the headlights began to dim the longer it was stuck in this state -if you try braking during these spells it has the anti-lock active so you're just grinding away like you're in a skid but not stopping (and this is on dry pavement!) -- this occurred one time while I was on an …

I have had my SUV since 2011 have had no problems with it until about feb. 25,2019. I had my brakes replaced ftont and back along with the rotors. A week after that I was driving on the highway come up to a red light was slowing down and when I got to 10 MPH it started to paulsate and wasn't for sure if I was going to stop completely. I finally did. I took it back to my mechanic he checked the ABS to see if the wheels were spinning at the same speed and they were. When I go down my driveway whick is a hill I'm not for sure if it's going to fully stop or go on out in the road, we are on a blind curve and it's rather scaring. Also I have a problem with the stablility and track light coming on and staying on, I just restart my SUV again for it to go off. It's both of the lights on the track and stablitity. My driver side seat belt is frilly on one side and getting thinner.

Since getting my car about 4 mos ago, the stabilitrak service light & indicator lights would come on, and it put the brake on by its self, the first time it did this, it scared me because I was going about 40 MPH and all of a sudden the brake almost stopped me, it has done this 2 or 3 times a week since, I talked to the Chevy service dept., and they said it was safe to drive as long as I was careful, until I could get it checked out, I didn't have $80 an hr., to do that. On 04/28/14, about 10 pm while driving on wet road, it happened again, going around a slight curve, it put the brake on by its self, causing my vehicle to go into a skid, it went off the road and rolled over several times, its a total loss, thank god no one got hurt. They should not have this kind of equipment on vehicles that does this kind of thing. I hope they will fix this problem before someone gets hurt or killed.
