Transmission & drivetrain
I was driving up I-5 , in the third lane when all of a sudden I got a drivetrain malfunction message on my screen I noticed that all acceleration was lost and knew I must pull out of the road for at the speed allowed I was bound to get rear ended on a busy highway like this car in back of me began to honk as I signaled to be allowed move out the road cars proceeded to just go fast and almost got hit a couple times .
The issue began as I was driving north on the express way and the car stopped while going 50mph. It was raining that day and stated I had a drive train malfunction I thought my daughter and I were going to die. Since then I have had the car towed over 6 times and even what I thought was repaired after a $3400 bill from a certified mechanic. I was told it would cost 15K to repair. I currently still owe 15K on this car still. This is regarding a recall that BMW wants to charge me a $600 diagnostic fee for. This is before doing any work. However the campaign claims it is free.the recall bulletin went out in 2015 for cars 2009-2015. I was never notified of the of this recall I found out my self. My car has been towed over 4 times. One shop had it for 2 months and I was finally told that it needs the n63 customer care package. I decided to have it towed to reeves BMW. …
