What owners report
Tire Pressure Monitor failure intermittently reported while driving. The error lights up on the dashboard. Sometimes the TMP resets without my resetting the system. I took the car to the dealer and was told nothing is wrong with the system. The dealer told me to drive the car more frequently. This has happened over the last several years. Driver's door intermittently fails to lock and/or will not open (intermittently) using the interior door latch handle mechanism. The door will unlock using the electronic locking and unlocking switch/button located on the center of the dashboard. The problem would be exiting the vehicle in an emergency without electrical systems functioning. This has happened starting in the first year of purchase - 2017 continuing through 2025.
Greetings: we have a 2015 bmw328i which came with continental sport/contact tires installed since new. The vehicle has approximately 26000 miles. During a recent regular maintenance visit it was determined that the tires have become unsafe due to broken/separated cord which has caused the tread to raise unevenly causing excessive road noise and vibration while driving. The tires were determined to be unsafe and were replaced. We also had this same issue on a 2015 Honda civic equipped with OEM continental tires and had the same symptoms when new and those tires were replaced prior to 1000 miles with new continental OEM tires and again showed scalloping and uneven tread raise by 12000 miles. We find this a trend with these tires and have preempted a catastrophic failure of these tires by replacing them, at our expense, since the dealerships will not honor a tire warranty. …
Accident happened in los angeles. I was heading east on 3rd street ( main road) 2 lanes, I was on the right lane. Opposite side also has 2 lanes going west. Westmoreland is an intersection on 3rd street and has the stop sign. The vechile crossed 3 lanes of traffic and hit my car on the drive side rear wheel and quarter panel. At the time of impact, the momentum had me going almost sideways onto oncoming traffic. And my biggest concern was, the 2 passenger side doors flung open. Everyone had their seatbelts on. My wif'e's shoulder bag which was tucked on the floor on the front passenger ended up in the middle of the road on 3rd westmoreland. The car was disable and can't be driven because the rear wheel was bent. I have reported it to my insurance company and told the BMW authorized repair shop. …

There is an electrical short in my car (BMW 328xi 2010). This electrical short can not be found easily. It causes my car to loose power while driving or it will not restart after only minutes after turning the car off. The power loss due to the electrical short/issue occurs without warning.
While driving at about 26mph, I heard and felt two loud cracks on my left side of the car. Immediately after, my car slouched on the left-hand side, the vehicle stopped suddenly and both airbags deployed. I was knocked out for a while and when the authorities arrived, we investigated the area and noticed that there was no collision with anything or anyone, other than both of my two left-side rims were cracked radially and there was damage to the suspension. In addition, the authorities confirmed there were no potholes, obstacles, or any other object that could have produced the incident.
I had a tire with low pressure. Took car in to replace tires. Tire service station attendant refused to mount the new tires due to cracks in three of the wheels. I have never hit a pot hole nor driven on rough pavement.
