I purchased my 2013 Acura TSX new. Since the date of purchase I have had the battery replaced 4 times including yesterday. On each occasion, the battery was drained due to the Bluetooth Module being defective. The dealer has confirmed the problem. This poses a substantial safety risk
Check engine Transmission ABS VSA TPMS All lights went on suddenly. While I was driving suddenly all lights came on dashboard. I've used OBD scanner to find the root cause but the problem can't be detected. I went to Acura dealer in NJ and paid $250. They inspected, and said it could be this Instrument cluster or that ECu. But they did not said anything concrete what could be faulty. Both are expensive to replace around $2000-$4000 each The lights comes and goes. These lights are not persistent. I've been driving with it. Sometimes when the lights are on AC DOESNT WORK, steering loses control for a second. When it loses control car swerves. It's dangerous but I've been driving with caution In past, electric power steering was malfunction and I had it replaced for $1500. I will never purchase Acura or Honda for lifetime It should be recalled
Driving on the freeway. Going 65-70mph EPS (electric power steering) indicator light came on. A message was also sent in inbox of car stating code such as 32 and 61. Steering wheel became stiff and was difficult to steer when car not moving. Went to auto zone to check out if there was any code and there was none. I change to a new battery and check steering fuse everything seem fine with charging system. I did research and found out there was many vehicle like mine that have the same issue. Also, look at Acura forums and some said there was a recall with the EPS. Please help me figure out this issue. Thank you.

On 11/19/19 my car was parked at a grocery store. When I got in to start it I got a flashing message regarding the electric power steering: 51. I couldn't really move the steering wheel and thankfully I was not driving. I had to had the car towed home. Upon looking into this I can see this has happened to a lot of people. The same year, make and model within the same mileage range as me. I have a 2011 Acura TSX with 75,000 miles. There is no reason this should be happening, I have had every required maintenance. This is a safety issue and should be recalled. Acura needs to do the right thing and recall this so they can fix it. Why would anyone owing this car ever buy another Acura knowing that with no fault of their own this can happen to them. Needless to say I have an appointment on 01/02/2020. The dealership said there is a "bulletin" regarding this issue. …
The car door locks, or door lock actuators, have failed multiple times ( each door at least twice) in five years. The car is now eight years old and all the actuators have failed again. The safety issue arises when the door should automatically lock after reaching 10mph, but they do not due to actuators failing to lock door. This could cause the doors to open if involved in crash. I am concerned with this safety issue as it could also allow unwanted people from entering my vehicle at any given time. Another issue is it is possible to be locked out of the vehicle if all of the actuators fail at the same time, as it requires manual activation of locks from the inside of the vehicle. The failures have been documented while the car was under warranty with Acura. I know of other TSX owners having the same issue. …
This TSX has had three different door lock actuators go out. Passenger door at 30K mikes, driver door at 45K miles and rear passenger door at 75K miles. While the first two were under warranty the last one isn't and costs $460 for the Acura dealer to fix the problem. Seems this should be a recall item as the car is in otherwise perfect condition. Multiple owners on Acura message boards complain of the same problem.
From 2009 through 2015 I have had my door lock actuators replaced 11 (eleven) times. Four times front driver side. Four times front passenger side. Four times rear passenger side. Three times rear driver side, which has now gone again making a fourth replacement necessary for rear driver side bringing total to 12 (twelve) times the door lock actuators will need to be replaced.
