The contact owns a 2025 Ram 1500. The contact stated that the air pressure was set at 55 PSI and the air pressure levels caused the vehicle to bounce too high while driving over bumps or uneven roads. The contact lowered the pressure to 45 PSI, which caused the vehicle to run smoother however, the tire pressure light remained illuminated. The contact stated that while looking online, the contact became aware of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V231000 (Tires, Electrical System); and related the failure to the recall. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer confirmed that the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000.
I had a low tire on my truck yesterday. My dash TPMS information screen popped up. While I turned my truck around I noticed the display said to "Inflate the tire to 50PSI". I checked on-line and found a recall for this notice, but my truck was not part of the recall. I called FCA and was told my truck is not part of the recall. I went to my dealer and showed them, and was told my truck is not part of this recall, and they can't do anything until it is. I asked how do I get on the recall list? Both the 800 number I called and the dealership said we don't know. I hope this gets me on the recall list for FCA Recall ID 30 Campaign Number 25V-231 Thanks
The contact owns a 2022 Ram 1500 equipped with Goodyear Tires, Tire Line: Fortitude H/T Tires, Tire Size: 275/65/R18, DOT Number: 14BYJJK1R. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the contact became aware that all four tires were cracked on the sidewalls, and the treads were crumbling and separated. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The contact was offered a discount on the purchase of a new set of tires. The contact stated that the tires were poorly manufactured and unsafe. The tires and vehicle failure mileage were approximately 17,900.
The contact owns a 2022 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving 45 MPH, there was a shimmy coming from the vehicle. The contact pulled into a parking lot, and the front passenger's side tire, rim, brake assembly, and ball joint suddenly detached from the vehicle. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer, and it was confirmed that there was no warranty coverage on the vehicle for the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was approximately 29,000.
While making a turn in a parking garage at low speed, I heard a loud popping sound. When I got out to inspect, I discovered that the front wheel had collapsed inward. There was no collision, curb hit, or external damage-just a spontaneous failure of the suspension system. This is the second time this same failure has occurred within the past year on this vehicle. The incident caused a complete loss of steering control, putting my safety at risk. Fortunately, I was not driving at high speed or on a public road when this occurred. There were no warning lights, noises, or other symptoms leading up to the event. The failed parts appear to include critical suspension and steering components (likely control arm, tie rod, or ball joint), and photos are available. The failure has not yet been inspected by the dealer or manufacturer, but the vehicle is available for inspection if requested. …
On 12-4-2025 I purchased a set of kumho mavis mountaineers apt tires at the Thomson GA. location. They didn't balance the tires when they were installed. So I had to go back for them to be balanced. After 5 months my truck was still riding really rough and the tires had worn considerably more than they should have so I called Mavis about this problem and was instructed to go to the Evans GA location on 5-22-2026 for a tire inspection. This location said all for tires were dry-rotted and I haven't had these tires for 7 full months and have put 22,000 miles on them. One tire has worn to the point of being slick and this is the only vehicle my family has right now. This has been on going since the date of purchase and there is a good chance these tires will cause an accident.
The contact owns a 2020 Ram1500. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the brakes applied independently without being depressed. There was no warning light illuminated. While driving over a bump in the roadway, the vehicle inadvertently shifted lanes and the vehicle became uncontrollable. The contact stated that the vehicle experienced the death wobble and the vehicle spun out of control and was almost struck by another vehicle. The contact was provided a police escort to the dealer. The 4WD, ABS, and service engine warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who stated that the tires needed to be replaced. The vehicle was diagnosed, and it was determined that an unknown module needed to be replaced. The dealer also recommended that the tires be replaced for better performance. The vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred. …
The rear driver-side wheel detached from the axle, resulting in an immediate loss of vehicle control. As a result, the truck left the roadway. The detached wheel landedapproximately 150 feet behind the vehicle, on the opposite side of the road from where the truck ultimately stopped. Insurance has not yet completed its inspection of the vehicle; however, the crack and damage to the wheel were observed at the scene by a volunteer firefighter, the responding officer, and the tow truck operator. Additionally, an independent witness reported that the truck appeared to abruptly lift off the roadway, as though something suddenly caused it to "go flying." Due to the sudden nature of the incident, no warning lights illuminated prior to the loss of control. All airbags deployed during the incident. …
