Today, with just over 19,000 miles on my 2008 Xterra , I had to replace my front brake pads and rotors. Both rotors were badly grooved especially on the inside surface and the inside pads were nearly completely worn. I had just had the vehicle inspected 2 months ago at my Nissan dealership and they reported no problems. It makes me wonder how my inspection was really done and also the quality of the parts that Nissan is using in it cars, as I have owned several cars and have never had to replace break pads much less rotors under 20,000 miles. I also experienced the difficulties with the tire pressure sensors. Two of them had to be replaced due to leaking air. I also had readings of low pressure when the tires had just been inflated to the proper setting and the light refused to turn off. After several days I took it to the dealership and they said my tires were just under inflated. …

My wife refueled her vehicle and the "service engine soon" light came on. The gas gauge then went from full to zero and low fuel light came on. Soon after, the tmps sensor also went out. I thought it might be the gas cap being lose, but it wasn't. The gas gauge will fluctuate between empty and full. This is my wife's car and it is a hazard to be driven on the road, especially if she runs out of gas.

The airbag light is flashing intermittent not registering passengers. The fuel gage keeps going up and down unaware of fuel level. The tire pressure sensor is on and tires have correct psi. Vehicle can be in start still or driving.

I had all four hankook dynapro atm tires from this batch replaced for tread separation. I originally purchased these tires in March of 2010. I had two of them replaced in April of 2013 (the separation on the two tires were so bad that they would not let me leave the shop with them.), then the blowout in September of 2014 then the final replacement in February of this year. All of these tires were replaced due to these defective tires. I replaced these tires with the same product thinking I just got a bad batch of tires. But when showing the guys at the discount tire what happened to the tire and car when the tread blew off the tire and the 2500 damage that was caused to the SUV, they felt that that was a defective product and that I needed to file a claim with hankook. They helped me get the claim started. …

While driving my 2004 Nissan Xterra the front driver's side tire detached from the rotor and my vehicle sunk down and continued to skid for approximately 200 feet before coming to a stop. The detached tire caused damage to an oncoming vehicle. After stopping I observed that two lug nuts had been sheared off. The vehicle's tires had not had any service done to them recently and it is still a mystery as to why the wheel detached. It is still unknown as to what the extent of the damage to the vehicle is and there is no way to inspect the detached tire as it went into a marshland and was lost.
