I bought this car in 2024 and after 3,000 miles it was unrepairable. The first incident, I was driving and the car started flashing and beeping, telling me to pull over and exit the vehicle immediately. I brought it to the dealership and after a few days they returned it and said it was a software update. The next day, while driving to work, the vehicle again started flashing lights and beeping and told me to Pull Over and Exit the Vehicle immediately. The vehicle continued to flash and beep until I could pull over and stop, which unfortunately I was on the freeway, in between barriers and had to drive 17 more miles with it in panic mode. Almost 4 months later, I got the vehicle back and again, after driving a short time, I experienced a TOTAL electrical failure. The brakes, power steering, hill descent, etc ALL stopped working! …

electrical failure of dc to dc converter, confirmed by manufacturer while driving on the highway i got an error message and immediately afterward the entire car shut down. no power steering, no brakes, no lights or hazards, no airbag. i was able to stop the car by gliding into an embankment in the left hand lane of the highway. was towed to the dealership. only by luck was my car not hit from behind or cause an accident behind me as I had no ability to put the hazards on. called 911 several times to assist but they did not come during the two hours i was on the highway. this issue has been reported in other range rover sports 2023 I had a recent full checkup of the car within the last month.

2023 Range Rover Sport · Jan 2026 · crash

Less than 2 hours before my car completely shut down while driving, I received an error message stating "Stop safely. Electrical fault detected." I immediately reached out to the service department who told they didn't think the car would have any additional issues and that I should bring it to the shop on Monday (the incident happened on Saturday). While driving down an entrance ramp to a major highway, my car shut completely off leaving me with no steering, brakes, emergency brakes, hazards or anything--completely dead to the point where absolutely nothing worked. I had to do my best to steer a dead car down an entrance ramp and onto a grassy area on the side of the highway as to avoid being hit by another vehicle or crashing into a vehicle or tree. The safety of myself and my family was put at risk because the car completely shut down leaving no emergency equipment for me to use. …

2022 Range Rover Sport · 61,000 miles · Apr 2026

VIN# [redacted] I reported complaints during all of my routine oil changes that I had a coolant leak and it smelled like something was burning under my hood. I also told them that I had coolant on my garage floor and that my gears were stalling on my vehicle. I reported these issues when my car had under 10,000 miles and again at the 20,000 mile range. They stated they saw no issues or related recalls. I believe I was intentionally lied to because my car was under warranty at the time and they didn't want to address the issues. I asked for them to check again prior to the expiration of the factory warranty they said they found nothing. I now have 69k miles and the issues that I'm experiencing surely didn't happen over night/ Recently when my oil change light came on another light came on as well. I asked the dealership to look into it but they refused unless I paid $265. …

The alternator on my vehicle (DC to DC convertor) went while driving home with only one sensor prompting me to turn back around and head home to be safe. The car essentially died and power steering was lost. There were no prior warnings or indicators of an issue. I had 15 minutes to make it back home. The car died in intersection, luckily at corner of my street and folks had to help push it into the driveway. Having searched for a replacement, there are no after market options, no used options, and my mechanic was told we are customer 30,335 as THOUSANDS of owners are experiencing this very same problem. The estimate weight time for the part was 3 months, at the least. So, we are stuck with an invaluable car, sitting for three months, and forced to pay storage fees at the mechanic shop as well as keeping current on the monthly car payment.
