1,000 miles · Jul 2025

I am reporting ongoing, unresolved, and potentially dangerous issues with my [Year] Jeep [Model, Trim], related to the ECU, electrical system, and overall drivability. I just picked up the vehicle yesterday after it spent 31 days in service, during which the dealership pulled over 65 different codes. Despite this, the vehicle was returned to me with no true resolution, and within 24 hours of driving it again, it is now showing 23 additional new codes. The car has stalled while driving, creating an extremely unsafe situation. On several occasions, it refuses to start. At one point, the vehicle was stuck in drive for over 27 hours, making it unusable and unmovable. These issues are recurring and unpredictable, making the vehicle a clear safety hazard. I've contacted Jeep Customer Care repeatedly. My assigned case manager refuses to respond, and they will not assign me a new one. …

Brakes

While traveling on the interstate at approximately 70 mph, I pressed the accelerator pedal to increase speed. Instead of accelerating, the vehicle suddenly jerked, and the wheels locked up as though the brakes engaged on their own. I continued pressing the accelerator, but the vehicle rapidly decelerated without responding to throttle input. The most concerning part was that the brake lights did not illuminate while the vehicle slowed down, which created an extreme safety hazard because drivers behind me had no warning that I was slowing. A large truck traveling directly behind me nearly collided with my vehicle because the sudden deceleration was not signaled by the brake lights. This incident placed both myself and surrounding drivers in immediate danger. The vehicle is currently at the dealership service department for inspection, and I have reported this issue. …

While driving my 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S, I experienced a sudden loss of regenerative braking, which caused the vehicle to take much longer to stop than normal. On initial brake application, deceleration was greatly reduced and required substantially more pedal travel and pressure to bring the vehicle to a stop. A "Regenerative Braking Failure" warning appeared in the instrument cluster. At the same time, the vehicle's power output dropped. The display showed multiple warnings, including Electrical Vehicle System Fault (wrench-and-bolt icon) and Reduced Power ("turtle"). A message appeared stating that the vehicle would shut down soon. Additional messages indicated that the Forward Collision Warning (FCW) and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) systems were disabled, further reducing braking support and collision avoidance capabilities. …

The AEB sensor came on malfunctioned. The safety of others is if it doesn't stop breaking could cause a collision. The vehicle has been in the shop since August 20 and still not fixed. The component has just been inspected or in the process of being inspected by a star technician so I was told from Selantis today. there's been problems with the battery with the front sensor not functioning properly.
