I had a service airbag warning go off days prior which was then followed by my parking brake warning and a constant seatbelt warning chime that happened concurrently. The vehicle had these issues cleared by my mechanic but hasn't been able to be resolved. From what i understand, the seatbelt sensor is faulty and should I have an accident in the near future the airbags will not deploy.
while driving the door locks start activating (locking and unlocking) AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT KEEPS FLASHING BRAKE WARNING LIGHT COMES ON AND DISAPEARS SHIFTER FAILS TO ENGAGE WHEN IN DRIVE VEHICLE LOSES ALL POWER BUT WILL NOT SHUT DOWN ESP INDICATOR LIGHT COMES ON SHIFTER INDICATOR STARTS FLASHING EMERGENCY BRAKE WILL ENGAE WHILE DRIVING
I had a service airbag, service parking brake and the seatbelt light starts flashing. It happens every time I drive the vehicle and I had it looked at by a mechanic and they see no issue with the sensors. They told me to check for any recalls and I don't see any here.
My computer had started to glitch within less than 100 miles of me buying the car I was told it was because the oil was low now I have a service engine light and within a day my car has lit up like a christmas tree with every light power steering has gone and I've already gotten an accident worth almost the whole car -1 grand so it was not totaled nor can anybody explain why my car did this and I got the blame for it when I have no control over this car this needs to be recalled this happened to me on the highway and side roads I have no e break and I cannot steer my wheel nor do I know if the airbags are even going to work because I got an a $10,000 accident and they did not go off.
Tl* the contact owns a 2016 Jeep Renegade. While driving 5 MPH, the vehicle shook violently and the engine vibrated. The contact coasted the vehicle to the side of the road and powered off the engine. The vehicle was restarted, but the failure recurred. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to antwerpen Chrysler Jeep (6440 baltimore national pike, baltimore, md 21228, [phone]), but it was not diagnosed or repaired due to the diagnostic and repair fees. The contact lifted the hood and the technician stated that the motor mount failed and needed to be replaced. The contact also stated that there was a delay in stopping the vehicle when depressing the brake pedal along with a squeaking noise. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the brakes and rotors needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. …
Seat belt light comes on dings the service airbag light comes on and the emergency brake light all at the same time. No one seems to be able to fix this problem. It does not seem to affect the driving but would have no idea if the airbags would deploy correctly. Also today while driving to work they all stayed on the entire time while dinging for over 20 mins. I have taken it to the dealership many times with no resolve. Some say it will not do it there some say they fixed it by taking off the negative battery cable for 40 mins that worked for like 1 day then all the lights are back. Is am so frustrated with this Jeep and the lack of help. I have no idea if this car is safe for my kids with the airbag, seat belt and emergency brake lights constantly on while driving. This happens when I turn the car on, or they can all just come on while driving. …
I've had two separate occurrences happened to me. The first one I came to a stop sign and made a complete stop, when I went to accelerate my accelerator, brake pedal and steering wheel locked, I had to put the car on park and turn the engine off in the middle of the street, wait a moment, turn it on, it took a while to turn on but then everything went back to normal and I continued my journey. The second time, I was I was driving and slowed down to make a left turn, as I started turning my car completely stopped in the middle of the road, again, everything locked, and I almost got it with oncoming traffic. Once again I had to put the car on park and shut the engine off in the middle of traffic and wait for it to turn back on. I have no idea what is causing this but it's very dangerous and I could've been seriously injured as well as other people.
Driver rear light (backup, blinker and brake) lights stopped working. When I was checking the bulbs it appears that the middle pin on the wiring harness has caused a short that broke the pin and also melted some of the harness. The vehicle has 53,000 miles on it. I looked online and there have been several other 2016 Jeep renegades that have had the same issue in the last year. We have had intermentant issues with the lighting system freaking out but it never effected the performance and would reset its self after about 25 miles. The dealership we took it to said that the vehicle needed a software update which they did. It seemed to correct that issue as it has only happened once in the last 20,000 miles or so. But this seems to be a bigger issue.
Tl* the contact owns a 2016 Jeep Renegade. When the contact started the vehicle after filling up the fuel tank, the check engine and electronic stability control warning indicators illuminated and the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was able to restart on the first attempt; however, the failure recurred. In addition, the vehicle made an abnormal sound and the emergency brake would not release. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but was not diagnosed. The dealer recommended to have the oil changed every 3,000 miles and to check the dip stick every time the vehicle was filled with fuel. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 5,870.
The car stops and turns off while in motion. Car lights turn on but engine will not turn on. Had battery replaced twice. The car won't turn off even after pushing the button and exiting the vehicle. Lights won't turn off . Key fob is detected when not near and not detected when inside car. Have gone to the extents of unplugging battery to reset computer after hours it will then turn on and work for about 1 week. With light issues in between. It's become a hazzard since the car will just turn off while driving and will not turn on even with a jump start from a tow truck. The car will become dead 100 percent. Only lights turn in at times until battery gets drained out. Then nothing works.
