What 2015 Jaguar F-Type owners say

Engine & cooling

Sudden loss of coolant while driving, without any prior warning lights. In my opinion that is unacceptable in a car with a little over 30k miles. F-Type forums all over the world would indicate this is a relatively common issue with some of the pipes under the supercharger being the suspected issue. Enough of an issue that I believe Jaguar redesigned those parts for newer model years, however there is no TSB for older cars at the moment. The current "solution" is owners updating the part themselves or having a shop/dealer replace the whole cooling system at owner's expense after there's a failure. Luckily this happened to me at low speed, but dropping all the coolant onto the road could be dangerous at highway speeds. I suppose there'd also be a risk of burns if it happened with the convertible top down and coolant came up the windshield into the car. …
