I am writing to formally express my frustration and disappointment regarding the complete lack of support I have received from Jaguar Land Rover North America following a devastating incident involving my 2018 Jaguar F-PACE (VIN: [redacted]). In January 2024, while driving my vehicle, it suddenly caught fire. This fire was caused by an issue that was the subject of a recall. My vehicle was scheduled to be serviced for this very recall just days later, but it did not make it to the appointment because it was completely destroyed. The fire department responded to the scene, conducted an investigation, and filed an official report, which I am prepared to provide for your review. After the incident, I reached out to Jaguar Land Rover North America, expecting assistance in addressing a fire that was clearly caused by a known defect. …
The Check Engine light hasn't worked on our Jaguar F Pace since we bought it despite taking it multiple times to multiple dealerships (due to moving to three different cities). We were told by each dealership that it wasn't a issue unless it was flashing. The final straw was in Feb 2024 we were driving on a busy road (A1A) at 55 miles per hour and the car started jerking, making loud noises and then stopped. We had to have it towed and find transportation home. Thank goodness my husband was driving because I'm not sure how I would have handled it. The Fields Jaguar Land Rover of Jacksonville says that we must pay $20,000 to repair the entire engine and Jaguar North America won't do anything to help. Please help us and make sure this issue doesn't happen to anyone else. Defective indicator light like this is a major safety issue.
