I purchased the 2006 Infiniti M35 from approval one, laplace, la on 3/16/2012 . I was not shown a carfax report. It was financed by asi federal credit union for $16,000. The car would stop in the middle of traffic. I received a recall notice on the car sensor and brought the car in per letter. I was then told that the camshaft sensor was the problem and not related to the recall. The transmission began to have problems shifting gears and I brought the car into ray brant Infiniti and was told a part on the transmission was the problem. That would cost me $2,300.00. I decided to trade in the car on 8/2/2014 and was given a carfax report showing structural damage, airbag deployed, and the car had been in an accident. I was told by several dealers that no one would take the car relating to the damage. I reported to asi federal credit union. …

Takata recall.... I was notified in September of 2016 that the passenger air bag was defective and I should not allow the seat be occupied. I have repeatedly call infinity requesting my vehicle be repaired. It is now January 2017. I feel infinity's poor handling of this recall has created an undo burden on the recall vehicle owners. Please look into the poor execution of this recall. Infinity offered a rental thru the local dealer but when I contacted the dealer and left a message it was not returned, I believe the dealers do not want to be involved in the rental program, because my original dealer does not offer any temporary fixes infinity speaks of.

Takata recall. Received notification in July 2016. Now 8 months later, we have no further communication from Infiniti when this will be repaired and the dealers do not know, either. Infiniti's solution is to do an interim repair that disables the passenger side airbag- not really "a fix". Can we get an update from Infiniti when they expect to be able to repair this problem?

Takata recall. I received a letter from Infiniti that my vehicle was under recall # 16v-349 in sept 2016 and that I would be contacted when parts were in. I have heard nothing in 6 months and I am driving an unsafe vehicle or I must not drive it at all. This is totally unacceptable and I am asking for NHTSA assistance to get the airbag replaced.

I am trying to get a definitive answer on my vehicle's airbags. I have been unable to determine if my vehicle was assembled using the recalled Takata inflators. I have contacted Nissan consumer affairs on several occasions and I have been given conflicting information. When I enter the VIN of my vehicle on the NHTSA website it does not return a "hit" for a recall. However; on more than one occasion I was advised by Nissan consumer affairs that the recall was only applicable to vehicles in high humidity areas and they listed the affected states and geographic areas. Maryland was not on that list. My understanding is that the recall was expanded to include all geographic areas but I have not been able to obtain a definitive answer if my vehicle is now part of the recall. …

Takata recall, my wife called the number and talked to someone at Infiniti. But our car shuts off in traffic,,,by the grace of god, we narrowly escaped three/four different accidents. And as we were searching for the problem, we noticed a recall for that also. She asked about a loaner vehicle until the recall can be fixed. But to no avail. Im not sure of what to do, its a very bad situation when your car just shuts off, the steering wheel locks and you began a slow coast in moving traffic. And I feel we shouldn't have to miss work, kids miss practice, and just sit home until the problem is fixed. …
