A few years ago my 2017 Honda HRV appeared to have what I thought was a glitch with the gas/millage gage. As time went on the glitch happened more frequently and the gage would either be blank or only fractions lit making it unusable. At times I was unable to tell how much gas I had and since I could also not track my miles I could not calculate. I have to drive for work and at times in remote and unsafe areas, having a reliable and fully functioning vehicle is very important. I also ran into in issue while having my oil changed causing a delay in service. Luckly after about 30min-1hr and some flickering the gage returns however I'm worried this will continue more and more frequently and eventually last longer all go out all together. …

My name is [redacted] - currently own Honda HRV. The Honda HRV was purchased late 2017. Recently after service recall by Honda my car was repaired for service recall by Honda Dealer dealer - 2 days after rain the front passenger floor area next to driver was flooded With water - I immediately took car back to dealer and told them to look at what was wrong as we never had this problem earlier- the service manager told me that there will be charges to even look at it - which I refused to pay as the car I handed before service recall never had this issue. Now with the rains the passenger area next to driver gets flooded every time and after calling Honda they have not responded so far other than informing that they will look up in to it and call me - this has been frustrating experience as it is raining every day for last few days - so please help ASAP. …

The vehicle has experienced extensive factory paint adhesion failure/delamination. The White Orchid Pearl paint is separating and peeling in large sheets across multiple panels, including the hood, roof/roof-rail areas, and multiple doors. The damage is not consistent with isolated rock chips, scratches, or collision damage. The peeling first began approximately 2 weeks ago, approximately two years after the expiration of an existing Honda paint-related recall/warranty extension. The timing raises concern that the coverage period may have expired before the underlying paint failure had sufficient time to materially manifest. An independent automotive estimator inspected the vehicle and confirmed that the damage was not caused by me, impact, or user damage and determined that it is a manufacturing defect. …
