At approximately 16:08 EST on Jan 1, 2022 I was traveling westbound on I-76 at mile marker 146.9 WB (40 02'03.0"N 78 29'50.0"W) in the center lane on a straight section of road at approximately 70mph. Car mileage was 21264 at the time of the crash. The weather at the time of the crash was light rain and with temperature approximately 50F. The car suddenly and for no apparent reason began skidding / fishtailing. I tried steering to regain control of the vehicle and applying the brakes to slow down, but the car continued fishtailing. I did not feel the anti lock brakes engage at any point during the skid. I went into the left lane, and struck the center concrete barrier, causing the airbags to deploy and the car to come to rest in the left lane. …

Sudden engine power loss; merging to highway speed was not possible. Risk to safety was the loss was when needing to merge with traffic at highway speeds. The dealership could not reproduce the problem. The check engine light did come on, but no codes were generated. The check engine light extinguished before the vehicle could be taken to the dealership. Only possible symptom, prior to the event, and still existing, is a lack of power, compared to when it was new. The dealership cannot confirm the cause of this power loss. There are other indications that there is a controls/computer problem, in my opinion. Power assist is not always available, but then suddenly engages, causing the car to jerk. My conclusion is that the vehicle does not immediately recognize the steering input. …

[redacted] vehicle has stalled in the middle of the highway 2 times, and would shut off mid drive. both times the car would shut off, start loosing speed and go into limp mode, and then stop. when trying to turn the car on, the whole dash board would light up with different errors, RDM problem, TPMS, CMBS, engine system error, electric power steering, Adaptive cruise etc. I have taken the vehicle 3 weeks prior to the latest incident to a local dealer, DEAN HONDA (911 Clairton Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236), and they said they couldn't find the issue or cause. i have video and picture evidence of problem. looking at the vehicle model, 2019 Honda accord, there are 3 recalls which describe my issue, but when entering the vin number says that my specific vehicle does not have any recalls. …

I was driving on the interstate on adaptive cruise control when suddenly my cruise control turned off, and then various sensor lights all started popping up on my dash notifying my that various safety systems were not on/working, including all honda sensing features, I also lost my power steering. I managed to pull off onto an exit ramp, kept the car running, and was able to get it to town to have battery tested. Battery was fine. Turned the car off and turned it back on and there were 0 issues and everything worked just fine. Took car to Honda dealership, it was diagnosed that the EPS unit malfunctioned. I was terrified when this happened as I was traveling 70 miles per hour on the interstate and didn't know what was happening, I was unsure what was happening and if I was going to be able to control the vehicle at all even through the gas pedal, or brakes. …

My 2019 accord gets stiff at speeds over 25-30mph and resists driver input, so much that you tend to over-compensate and make constant steering corrections every second so you don't crash. The car does not track straight at any speed, and does the same when the Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) is off or on. When LKA is active the car will not go straight on a straight smooth road. The car wanders dangerously from the right to left line markers and often rides on the markers bringing you very close to other cars and then jerks the car back to the opposite side of the lane and continues to do the same back and forth like a drunk person is driving the car. Also the Driver Input Required amber light comes frequently on a straight road with highly visible lane markers. It is extremely tiresome to drive the car and try to keep it in its lane, even when I disable all the "driver-assistance" features. …

While driving my 2019 Honda Accord, after about five minutes on the road, multiple warning lights suddenly appeared on the dashboard. The emission system, brake system, power steering, TPMS, ACC, hill start assist, collision mitigation, and vehicle stability assist warnings all came on at the same time. The alerts caused concern for safety, as several major systems such as steering assist, braking, and driver-assist features appeared to malfunction simultaneously. The issue seems related to an electrical or charging system failure (such as the alternator or battery), since all of these systems rely on stable voltage to operate correctly. The incident occurred without warning and could have resulted in loss of steering assist or engine power while driving
