This vehicle just quits running by itself at highway speeds and then you cannot control the brakes, steering or engine. I reported this to odi in March of 2006 confirmation #10153178. I have had the vehicle in to GMC dealers to repair this issue many times and each time I was told there was no recall and that they could not duplicate my problem. I saw on the news recently that other GMC products have this issue and have caused deaths, but my vehicle was not listed in the recall. I want to know why not? I am lucky I did not go over a cliff on wolf creek pass the first time this happened and kill myself. The problem that I am having with this vehicle is exactly the same issue that is on the news now with the other GMC models. This vehicle should have been included in the recall and was not. Someone needs to correct this. …
