For more than a month my truck has cut off completely as I begin to break when I I am coming to a stop or when I am making a turn into a parking lot or at a corner. Sometimes it happens several times in a row during one trip. It always happens when I am in motion but once I turn on the hazard lights, put the car in park, turn off the ignition and restart it, it cranks right back up. I was told, based on my description that it could be a manufacturers defect in the turndown solenoid switch or sensor associated with the automatic transmission. This is a safety issue but I need my vehicle. This problem always occurs when I am on a city street. …

Noticed a no traction in my cluster one month before the accident. When I turned the SUV off the light would go away. I had a code check on it and had codes for my ABS. Sensors where checked and tested. No fault in the sensors. The day of the accident as I was passing the person and switching lanes there was a red light ahead I applied my breaks and the no traction came on as I hit a small patch of ice. Traction did not kick on or ABS leading me out to m-24 from a neighborhood road getting hit on the driver side fender by a Chevy tracker. After much research and talking with ase tech's. A defective steering positioning sensor was defective and know in the 360 models to go bad. After the replacement no problem miles at 100097.

While attempting a full stop after pulling into parking lot, vehicle would not stop, ABS came on and prevented Envoy from reaching full stop. Had to put vehicle in neutral and use e-brake. Occurred 4 more times before I could take for service. Mechanic diagnosed issue with ABS sensors, although sensors did not report as faulty. Online research indicates this was a common GM failure from 02-08 in trucks in areas where salt/snow is prevalent. Remedy was disable traction control and ABS, cant afford to replace front bearings and rear sensors. Problem only occurs intermittently, and only when attempting stop from low initial speeds.

My husband and I were traveling when the vehicle shut off with no warning at all and all the dash board lights came on. The vehicle would not restart but would turn. This happened Saturday 9/2/17 on a country highway out in nowhere . We called a tow truck. Thank god for cellphones. On 11/12/2016 hub bearings replaced. 11/15/16 module and connector replaced and fuel level sensors and ring replaced. Three years ago A/C went out. Replaced.

The manufacturer was notified of the traction control failure and advised the contact that there were no recalls relating to the failure. The failure mileage was 147,000.

1. Started with horn honking on its own, radio turning on and off and heating and cooling turning on and off and battery being drained. Dealer replaced 2 batteries. 2. Stabilitrak warning light would intermittently come on and say it needed serviced. 3. Gas gauge started malfunctioning after a fill up. Needle would fluctuate and eventually remain on e. Was told by dealer it was either the fuel level sensor or instrument panel. 4. Vehicle started to jerk forward when sitting at stop light. Jerks are strong enough that you feel like you were rear ended. Then started noticing the jerks while driving at highway speed. 5. Oil gauge began fluctuating from high to low. Was again told it was a bad instrument panel .6. Rear air suspension began deflating when vehicle would sit for long periods of time. Low enough that tires almost touch top of wheel well. …

Stabilitrac and/or ABS system engages when not necessary such as driving on dry, straight pavement at highway speeds. Causes vehicle to decelerate suddenly and almost lose control when brakes activate and motor retards. Electrical system also fluxuates (altimeter bounces from low to hi) causing a loss of power with associated loss of steering, lights, braking controls, at any speed. Problem has been increasing (frequency & severity) from July, 2009 to present (jan, 2010). Dealer shop did stabilitrac TSB firmware upgrade (and charged me) w/o correcting problem, also retested and "could not find anything wrong":battery is new but problem persists. 55,000 miles, mostly highway/improved roads. This occurs every time, literally, the vehicle is moved: 30-40 miles/day. 1/6/10 engine developed "low growl" noise and RPM dropped from ~800rpm to ~600rpm at parked idle w/o any apparent cause. …

On 12/23/13, while parked the vehicle died. When restarting, it was a little slow but did end up starting. On 12/24/13, I had the battery tested and it showed that the cca's just needed a good charge so I let the vehicle run for 45 minutes. A few hours later, the vehicle would not even turn over. On 12/25/13, removed the battery and reinstalled it. The vehicle started fine and ran well for a few days. On 1/1/14, vehicle stalled while driving. Ended up restarting but I had to give it gas to do so. On 1/2/14, I started the car to warm it up and it started fine. I let it run for 20-30 minutes before attempting to drive it. When I got in the vehicle, it said that the brake system was not working and the stabilitrack light was flashing on and off intermittently. I had to get a cab to work & have it towed to the shop. I'm hoping to hear back tomorrow in regards to what is going on. …

I bought a used 2006 GMC Envoy denali with 69,000 miles in June 2010, by July I was replacing the air shocks on the right side of the vehicle. On about 7/28/2011 on the beltway where the speed limit is 65 I was in the far left lane approaching a left hand exit when my car stalled, I had run out of gas with no indication. I waited over an hour for someone to come put gas in my truck in about 100 degree tempature. I later ran out of gas on a back road coming to my house at night. Again no indicator light came on to let me know I was low on gas. Now the gas gauge floats between full and empty contionusly. This was a very dangerous and scary situation both times. My flashers were on the whole time and I had to change the battery. Now the air will not come out of the vents only the floor and defrost. …
