Fuel & propulsion system

Gas sending unit/fuel pump lines rot out due to corrosion and spray gasoline all over the underside of vehicle. The low fuel level light has come on, and the tank was filled within 25 miles. Researching, I find this is a current issue with my vehicle. The fuel gauge shows empty almost all the time, and the check engine light has come on. The fuel gauge does not show correctly at all.
