Remedy: Allison transmission is conducting the owner notification and remedy for this campaign. Dealers will remove the transmission from the vehicle, replace the park pawl, and reinstall the transmission in the vehicle.

Vehicle description: medium duty trucks equipped with hydromax hydraulic brake systems. The park brake warning lamp circuitry does not include a provision for a park brake warning lamp check function. Therefore, these vehicles do not comply with the requirements of FMVSS no. 105, "hydraulic brake systems."
