The death wobble. Hitting a bump - no matter the size and without warning - may cause your entire vehicle to wobble/shake uncontrollably and loose ability to steer. You're only recourse is to let off of the accelerator and TRY to hold the truck in the lane and pray you don't have to brake or make a turn. It has happened multiple times but the worse was while traveling I-10 in San Antonio, Texas while pulling a horse and trailer.
After taking vehicle to dealer for popin noise in front end while turning found out that the trailing arm bracket was broken in half. I was told by the dealership it was not covered by warsnty because I have a leveling kit on my truck. They refered me to a place to weld it together when I contacted them I was told that they have fixed many Ford trucks with the same problem some of the trucks had leveling kits some without. Then I contacted a different dealership and was told that they also were fixing numerous truck with the same problem and that Ford had made a new part that was stronger and that's how they were fixing the problem. I think Ford obviuosly has had a problem otherwise they would not have made a stronger part but they are using the leveling kit on my truck as an excuse not to fix the problem. …
