I bought this Dodge carvan 2017 it has 41700 miles after I start the van and move it about 20 feet it automatically locks the doors and the right side sliding door in the back makes a big noise this has been going on for a week now the back sliding door is stuck and cannot be moved , took it to dealer said it will cost $1100 . It I have an accident and my child is trying to get out and cant . I dont know what I will do with my anger if I lose my child!! I notice that this has been going on with Dodge carvans and nothing has happen I want a recall on this issue, does a life has to be lost in order for this to happen or what ?
I was driving down a main road all the lights came on in my dash car started beeping, radio came on, windshield whippers came on at high speed, ac came on, lost the ability to steer vehicle or brake with mileage screen switching to different options within that screen. Car been at dealer since the day after still do not have vehicle back or a diagnosis of what or why vehicle went into this state.

I loaded all of my children in my van to go do a walmart pick up. All of the doors were working fine. We got home from doing our pick up, and the back driver side door would not open. All of the children had to get out of the other side, and climb over a baby car seat. We tried to get the door open from the inside, and the outside, we tried to disengage the locks, but it seems as though they are permanently stuck. If I get into a wreck, this is a safety hazard. Simultaneously, the door on the passenger side in the back will not lock at all. These are both hazards which should be recalled, and fixed immediately! I believe it has something to do with the electrical system, however I am no mechanic. I am not the only one who has had this problem, I have been researching the problem and there are many. …
The electric controls are going haywire when van is turned on nothing will function than the rear defroster comes on nothing else works then the air comes on and cool air on drivers side heat on passenger side then some cool then heat and I have a lighting bolt simble on the dash and van was hit head on while park and the air bags did not deploy
Left sliding door is stuck. It wont unlock from inside or outside tryed to do it manually and sti does not work. Have tryed everything. This is a very concerning issue cause in case of accident or fire we will be stuck inside van and wont be able to get out. I have read online and have found thousands of people with the same problem. Dealer wants to charge $1000 for a problem that is a safety and dangerous issue and it should. E recalled cause is happening to everybody. How can I get help ??
The contact's mother owns a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that after shifting into drive(D), the vehicle failed to accelerate upon depression of the accelerator pedal. The contact stated that the check engine and traction control warning lights were displayed on the instrument panel. Due to the failure, the vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where the contact was informed that the fuse box in the engine had melted. I was in my car I had just pulled into the driveway which is on an incline, my car was in drive my foot was on the brake when your foot comes off of the break and you are in drive my car will roll backwards it is designed that way. On this particular day my car rolled forward I noticed it was rolling forward and I put the car in park as I put the car in park and was stepping on the brake the car made a high pitched noise and then the rpms revved up and up and the car accelerated forward as if I was pushing on the gas and in drive. The car would not let me get it out of park and it kept going forward accelerating into the house and garage over and over. I had to slam the gear shift and hit it over and over from park down into reverse which finally happened and then I was able to go backwards and stop hitting the garage. …
