I was not informed of a recall and me and my son were in the vehicle driving and it started hopping almost as if it had hydraulic. I told my son to fasten his seat belt considering we were just leaving the store and pulling onto a busy highway. It continued to wobble and I sped up to get off the hwy and then hen the jumping real high and hard began I was going maybe 45 MPH and the axle or ballpoint had snapped causing the car wheel to lock up and cause me to run in the ditch luckily no one was harmed but we were very interested much so shaken up.. I had no issue out of that tire or ball joint before and I am needing to know what I need to do to start my investigation... Me and my son are happy no one was injured too bad.

Dt: 2000 Chrysler Sebring, the wheel fell off while the consumer's daughter was driving 25 MPH in a neighborhood. The vehicle was taken to the mechanic who determined that the a frame had cracked. The wheel was the passenger front wheel. She heard a grinding sound before this happened. She did hit another vehicle and both vehicles were damaged. The police did respond, but did not file a report. Daimler-Chrysler sent an inspector and told them it was not fault of the manufacturer. They would not show her the report and if she wanted to do anything further she would need to get a lawyer. The vehicle had been serviced in February 25, 2005; it had a brake inspection and other brake work done.

The bolts that hold the front end frame on keep coming loose and I only know this when I start feeling and hearing a rattling sound while driving. I have had them tighten once but it is happening again. I wanted to know if there is a recall on this so that they do not come loose. I do not want to have an accident when something comes loose.

It had rained and when I got in my car it sounded as if there was a bucket of water within the walls of my car. Then it went away after a few days and then it rained again so when I got in my car the rug on the right hand side was full of water and my radio was ruined because the water is trapped within the walls of my car and leaked in to my floor destroying speakers and my rug and because my warranty is up I have to pay for this. This car has never been in an accident.
