What owners report

I've had my Trailblazer for two years now about 4/2010 the windows would go up and down on their own and the power lock stopped working so Chevy replaced the main control switch then about 6/2011 I had to replace the wheel bearings and the sensor twice and about 01/2012 the wipers and washer fluid wouldn't shut off got a new wiper motor put in and now the truck has been sitting since 4/2012 had to have it towed from albany because the truck just all of a sudden slowed down even with my foot on the gas pedal and now I have ten different codes that came up two for the camshaft sensor and solenoid the knock sensor the crankshaft sensor and a few other ones... We called Chevrolet and they have no clue what is going on nor what is wrong with it.

I had by back hatch open and I grabbed the door handle to close it. I pulled it down and as I pulled it down I hear a pop and all the glass shattered down on me with the door still open up in the air. Three weeks later I replaced the window. (not a cheap glass almost $1000 with labor to replace) the mechanic opened and closed the door and the hatch to test for defects. All went well. I went to close the door so that I can leave the mechanic shop and I heard the pop and the glass shattered again. GMC has no recalls for the 2006 Chevy Trailblazer EXT ls and I have to go get this back window again. This is a great truck just don't know what is wrong with this back window. Ughhhh!

I have a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer and the rear glass has shattered 2 times the first time we reported it as a window being shot out but im not sure that's what happened now there was no proof that's what happened for sure I opened the outside door to my house then I shut it to hear my window shatter ins paid to replace it and that was just over a year ago it cost a total of 1200.00 to get fixed then last night we were getting stuff out of the back of the car and as my husband pushed it shut the window shattered into a million pieces this would have cut him up bad if it would not have been cold and he wasn't wearing his winter coat what if it was my 8 year old going out to get something . Not sure how we are going to get the window replaced its christmas time and I cant really afford it hoping the glass company will honor there policy of safe glass and replace it.

I opened the rear access to my Trailblazer and was about to shut it I reached my hand up and started to pull the hatch down. I had moved it about an inch when the back window "exploded" sending a shower of glass down over me and my five year old son. It shot glass fragments 10 feet. I had glass in my hand and my hair. Son was behind me and luckily he did not receive any injuries. People heard it noise inside the building. The vehicle was clear of ice and snow and it was 20 degrees out, ( not terribly cold comparably). I had never had trouble with the glass or the rear access before. The glass did not have a nick or a scratch. I took pictures of the mess.

The ABS light has come on and then it would work sometimes and not other times. Now it never works. Now that its winter I'm sliding at stop signs that aren't even that slippery. The actuators in the heating and cooling are not working properly. All summer I had heat blowing all the time and suddenly there would be nothing. Now it's cold air all the time. Makes my windows fog up and not defrost. I have done the reset procedure and hear things moving but it doesn't fix it. The blower in the ball seat and third row is hit or miss for even working at all.

2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer - purchased in May of 2003 off of the sales floor - around 5 miles on it - truck began squeaking - took it in, they said bad break pads, changed them out and gave it back (2 days without truck) - squeaking still there - took it back in - service tech said the front spindle was bent - told me I couldn't drive it it was unsafe (5 more days without truck) - at the same time they take truck to body shop because rear hatch won't shut it too is bent - same with the hood (hmmmmmmmm!!!!) - rear wiper motor then busts (now I'm erked) - driving down the highway at 55 and truck shuts off - no power steering almost wreck it seems the gas gauge is not accurate!!!!!!! - then blower motor won't shut off without taking fuse out ... …

I purchased a used 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer VIN# [redacted] and the windshield wiper systems will not turn on and ceased operation while in use. (moisture sensitive wiper system) there was a recall for this issue on 2/4/2004 recall id #69922 I contacted Chevrolet at [phone] and was told that the vehicle was serviced on 7/2004 for a seal assembly and there was nothing further they could do. However the problem still exists the information below was posted in the recall ad: because the presence of water within the wiper modules can either cause a short circuit or can lead to the corrosion of components within the module. Consequence depending on the occurrence and weather situation, driver visibility could be reduced, which could result in a crash. …
