What 2001 Chevrolet Chevy Van owners say

Air bags

I was a passenger in my own vehicle and we were going the speed limit east bound. Another car came out infront of my vehicle and as we approached the intersection we struck the other vehicle as there was no other choice. I was badly injured because my airbags never deployed. I was belted in but my whole left side still hit the dash and head broke the windshield. The emergency responders said I wouldn't have been as badly injured if the bags would have deployed. We weren't cited but the other driver was. I contacted general motors but they are failing to take responsibility for their product. They said it was my responsibly to keep track of the vehicle after my insurance totaled it out. I have pictures of the vehicle inside and out. And all emails between GM and myself. I would like something done as I am still recovering from the accident.
