What owners report
The indirect measurement TPMS system of this car has misdetected low tire pressure on three occasions. Most recently, on October 3 while driving on the freeway at about 70 MPH the TPMS alert illuminated. I checked the information screen and the display showed low pressure in all four tires. Because I have had misdetection of the right front tire twice before, and that it seemed very unlikely that all four tires would deflate at the same time, I disregarded the alert as a false detection. Later I checked the air pressure in all four tires and found it to be exactly correct. In an earlier episode, as I mentioned the TPMS alerted that the right front tire was low. In this instance, I did not have a history of false detections, so I believed the information to be accurate and immediately exited the freeway and returned home where I had a (very accurate) tire pressure gauge. …
Hi, 2021 Volvo S60 VIN: [redacted] License plate: [redacted] (PA) Title date 12/7/2021 (bought the Volvo new...) I have barely 11,000 miles on the clock and have already replaced 4 low profile tires owing to potholes in highways and other roads across the United States. I really, truly want to file this complaint. I'm not sure why Volvo included low profile tires in the size 235/40R19 on their S60 models. When I drive, I feel like a downhill skier gliding from left to right, dodging potholes... According to my dealership Keystone Volvo of Doylestown, [redacted] , selling low profile tyres is a thriving industry.... According to AAA Mobile Mechanics, low-profile tyres are more prone to tyre and rim damage since they have less air cushioning to withstand heavy impacts from potholes and uneven places on the road. Low-profile tires are also more sensitive to road damage. …
Have there been complaints about the Pirelli tires with foam inlays falling apart because the foam comes unattached, then causing misalignment. Car becomes unsafe to drive as the tires start to disintegrate. My car started shaking so bad it became difficult to drive. Turned out foam inlay had become unattached which caused uneven wear and some tire disintegration along with the alignment getting out of whack. Tire size 235/40R19 96V pirelli p-zero - It happened with all four tires. Two in the front were relatively new and had less than 10000 miles on them
Sudden, Extreme vibration of front tires on I-95 West Palm Beach FL. Drove immediately to Schumacher Volvo to keep initial service appointment. Service manager advised to replace all 4 tires due to previous experience with OEM Perelli tire failures on Volvo vehicles. Replaced all 4 tires at Costco at $1112+ cost. All photos show failure of foam/padding inside tires by Pirelli P Zero Run Flat. Tire size: 235/40/19 XL

I was sold this car by Volvo of north miami on 4/11/18. I had to take the car for service on 4/13 due to other repairs they did not take care of under warranty to gunther Volvo , delray beach , florida. I was told I should have never been allowed to drive the car off the lot due to the condition of the tires that were extremely dangerous and could have caused a serious accident and affected others. I was told by ricky menendez who sold the car that all there cars are inspected thoroughly before being sold.
I lease a 2014 Volvo S60. The vehicle came equipped with continental tires, size 235/45-r17-97v. The dot # is af8p-nih6. The odometer has 8, 550 miles. I drive the vehicle very carefully and conservatively. I have not hit any curbs, carstops or potholes. On January 7th I replaced the left front tire due to a bubble in the sidewall. Today I noticed a bubble in the front right side tire. I believe these bubbles are due to a manufacturing defect and not because I hit something with the tires. Please investigate this complaint.
