Affected: 2026 Subaru Forester, 2026 Subaru Forester Hybrid. Filed with NHTSA on May 28, 2026, covering about 69,663 vehicles.

The problem

The risk

A detached glass panel may become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

Dealers will inspect the power moonroof glass panel for proper adhesion and, if necessary, replace the glass panel assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 6, 2026. Owners may contact Subaru customer service at 1-844-373-6614. Subaru's number for this recall is WRF-26.
