I bought my car while living in Florida from a lady that didn't drive it for a while and after I bought it I drove it i drove to Washington two and a half times. before this though it had an airbag safety issue where the airbags didn't deploy and also my gas gauge does not work correctly as well as the suspension, which the coils are not up to codes and regulation also my odometer does not work well period when I got in my car accident my airbags had not deployed which is the safety risk and I looked up online due to the multiple risk zones that I crossed over I know that it is a good chance that I qualify for recalls that maybe it wasn't listed prior to putting up on here because I was unaware of a recall list.

Urgent airbag safety recall. Prior to airbag recall was in a 3 car accident. Family was with me, and no one was hurt. Thankfully for this, but now I don't feel safe driving this car regardless when airbag be repaired. Been in this vehicle for 12 years with a defected airbag which should keep occupants safe instead putting my life and others in danger. Is there a guarantee when repaired this will be safe?

The steering wheel suddenly started turning all the way to the left on its own while I was driving straight about 50mph on the highway. The steering wheel locked in this position and was impossible to turn back to a neutral position. The car veered all the way to the right, causing me to spin several times before hitting the concrete barrier. The airbags did not deploy after hitting the concrete barrier. We always took my car for all necessary recalls, the last of which was on 6/12/2018 for airbags. The car was unable to change gears and was impounded by insurance. ## VIN passed ## Nissan Versa 2010 hatchback ## updated 10/11/18 consumer stated the vehicle was deemed unrepairable and we were paid out by insurance. Desiccated Air Bag Inflator Rupture

NHTSA investigation EA21002 · opened Sep 17, 2021 · open

From 2000 through 2017, Takata produced millions of air bag inflators using two types of phase-stabilized ammonium nitrate ("PSAN") propellant -- propellant 2004 and propellant 2004L. After prolonged exposure to high temperature cycles and humidity, inflators using propellant 2004 can degrade, causing the propellant to burn too quickly when ignited.
