I purchased my 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis used in June of 2005. I've had intermittent problems with the horn since then. Last summer, I replaced the horn because one of the 2 tones had failed. I drive 23.5 miles each way to work, in heavy highway traffic, and the loss of my horn is extremely dangerous when you are around drivers who don't check before changing lanes.
