2008 Zephyr · May 2016

I received a recall letter in July 2016, almost 2 years ago. I have contacted Lincoln and the dealership where it was purchased with no resultsl when I take it to the dealer or call them, they continually say they do not have the parts. This vehicle is our primary car and one of us is always in the front passenger seat. We are both in our 70's and don't need the stress. Also, I read that Takata has filed for bankruptcy. Do I need to contact a lawyer?

The airbag sensor light is indicating a sensor needs replacement. I have replaced airbags on both the driver and passenger side due to recall. Diagnostics state it is the sensor, passenger side. I have attempted to have repaired, and after 5 weeks and 4 mechanics, no one can seem to get the new sensor to connect to the system and work properly. I did not have a vehicle for weeks! PLEASE HELP!
