The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 MPH, the vehicle unintendedly shut off. The vehicle failed to immediately restart. After restarting the vehicle, the vehicle operated normally for a short while before erroneously shutting off a second time. The contact stated that during the failure, another vehicle almost crashed into the rear of the vehicle, and the vehicle failed to immediately restart. Additionally, while operating the vehicle, the instrument cluster malfunctioned and started pixelating, making the screen unreadable. During the failure, the contact was unable to view the safety information, and the lane departure feature was inoperable. The vehicle was later towed to the local dealer. The cause of the failures was not yet determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 35,000. …
The vehicle has ongoing electrical and battery system problems that cause safety and driver-assistance systems to malfunction or shut off unexpectedly. The vehicle has repeatedly been found dead after short periods of non-use, requiring jump starts and battery replacement. These electrical issues appear to affect multiple vehicle systems simultaneously. While driving, advanced safety features such as lane departure warning, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and proximity-based warning systems shut off, become unavailable, or behave inconsistently without warning. In some cases, warning messages appear and then clear on their own, while the affected safety systems remain disabled. At other times, the systems deactivate without any clear alert. …
While driving my 2024 Jeep Wagoneer, the vehicle experienced a sudden and complete loss of power without warning. The engine shut off while the vehicle was in motion, including during a turn. When this occurred, I lost power steering, which made the vehicle difficult to control and created an immediate safety hazard. Prior to this incident, the vehicle had ongoing issues including overheating, repeated check engine lights, and power steering warnings. The vehicle has been taken to the dealership multiple times. A thermostat repair was previously performed, and at a later visit I was told there was an electrical/battery wiring issue that was repaired. Despite these repairs, the problem has continued. The loss of power while driving placed my safety and the safety of others at risk, especially since the failure occurred without warning and resulted in loss of steering assistance. …
On four separate occasions on 10/13/26, the 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneeer experienced sudden and complete vehicle systems shutdowns while being driven. Vehicle owner and two daughters were in the car. It was early morning (5:15am), and very dark. These incidents were not ordinary engine stalls. Suddenly and without warning the vehicle's engine shut down, all electrical power ceased, the dashboard, headlights, running lights and instrument displays went dark, and power-steering assistance was lost each time. Three of these four incidents occurred while the vehicle was traveling at approximately 15 mph, 30 mph, and 40 - 50 mph on surface streets. The worst and most dangerous incident occurred while owner was merging onto the freeway at approximately 55 mph. …
I recently purchased the vehicle in May 2025. It was a dealer car from original purchase. One month after purchasing [June 2025] the vehicle the car would not start. I called in roadside assistance to jump start the car. I took the car to a Jeep dealership for servicing. They recommended replacing both batteries. They mentioned one of the batteries were not an original. This must mean the dealer who owned and sold me the vehicle was aware of the battery issue. In late July, little over one month the vehicle would not start. I call for roadside assistance again. I dropped vehicle with dealership. I called two days later, and they could not discover the problem. They suggested I leave the vehicle for up to three weeks. This would give them sufficient time to attempt to discover the cause of the battery drainage. …
When sitting at the light my vehicle completely shut off. When I was able to restart the vehicle the power steering light came on. After driving for a few moments, the vehicle did the same thing and steering concerns continued. The vehicle was on two major roads with other vehicles around. This put myself, my son, and other drivers on the road in danger of being involved in an accident. The vehicle was taken to the dealership under the Florida Lemon Law. The aux and main battery were replaced. The representative from Stellantis denied our Lemon Law request of repurchase or replacement of this vehicle. …
My 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer has not operated properly since I purchased it (January 2025). The most significant issues have involved engine, battery, and electrical failures, along with recurring problems related to the lighting, doors, trunk, and various cosmetic components. These issues have been repetitive. Each time the vehicle is brought to the dealer for service, repairs are often delayed for extended periods due to parts availability. Even after repairs are completed, many of the same problems recur. My experience with Jeep Corporate has also been frustrating, with slow response times and limited cooperation in resolving the underlying issues. Based on reports from other owners, these concerns do not appear to be isolated to my vehicle. I am currently awaiting a repurchase offer from Jeep Corporate. …
While stopped in traffic with the brake pedal depressed and Auto Hold enabled, my 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L has repeatedly jerked and shifted itself into Park without driver input. This typically occurs after being stopped approximately 20+ seconds, often while a turn signal is activated for a left or right turn. When the failure occurs, the vehicle disables driver-assist systems, the turn signals behave like emergency flashers, false rear tail light error messages appear, and the check engine light turns on and remains illuminated. The vehicle will not move until the brake pedal is applied and the transmission is manually shifted back into Drive. The issue has occurred multiple times at different locations and dates. A recent repair replaced the vehicle's primary electronics control module(s), but the same behavior occurred again afterward. …
On multiple occasions my vehicle has not recognized the key fob when I have been at the vehicle. I have actually been standing by it trying to open the door and it would not respond. Even if I was holding the key fob in my hand next to the door it would not respond. I would have to manually push the unlock button on the fob to be able to enter. This has caused me personal safety concerns when in unfavorable situations and I could not immediately gain access to the interior of my vehicle. The memor seat and easy exit functions have repeatedly failed to operate as they should causing me to be out of position when driving requiring manual resetting of the position. The heads up display consistently shows the incorrect speed limit. Google Maps and Carplay intermittently become disconnected while I am driving creating a safety hazard when I am using Google Maps guidance. …
