1) The vehicle idle is too high. It jerks forward every time I'm at a stop then I want to go forward. I have almost ran into the back of other cars while waiting at a stop sign. 2) The bolts and Subframe is coming detached from the car. It has been confirmed by dealership and franchise auto repair places (2 of them) that the car motor is knocking around and the subframe is loose! I've currently spent over $2000 alone in repairs on the suspension, rack and pinion & oil leak & manifold intake issues since purchase in 2019. Besides the check engine light turning on and off, there was no prior warning of the subframe and/or it's bolts being rusted out prior to purchase or prior to mechanics telling me about this dangerous repair needing done. …
"Takata recall"-my airbag light has been on for over 2 years! I bought my Hyundai xg350l in August 2012 from a dealership in maryland. In 2014, I started the car and the airbag light came on. It's been on ever since. The light only goes off when the car is off. I had open-heart surgery in June 2012 and was, and still am in fear of anything possibly hitting me in my chest! Therefore, I took the car to be checked at two different nationally-known auto repair business. I also took it to a Hyundai dealer. I have constantly been told there were many issues and complaints regarding the airbags for the Hyundai cars and to check on a possible recall soon. I'm still waiting for a recall on these defected airbags! I have major concerns about driving the car for this reason, but I really don't have any other choice. My driving is limited though. …
Air bag sensor light came on. New sensor was put in under warranty. A year later the sensor light came back on. It was replace at my cost ($250) because it was out of warranty. A year later the sensor light comes back on. It was not fix, however, when the timing belt was replace in 2013 at 60,000 the sensor light went off. After recent dealer computer repairs in March of 2015 the sensor air bag light came back on April 2015. My neighbor has the identical model and has the same problem with the sensor light.there are blogs on line that discuss the failures of the air bag sensor. I don't know if the air bag works or not.
