I was driving a New 2024 Venue Model car by Hyundai when the electronic system of the car failed or dropped dead and I almost caused a collision. The dash board light iluminated and said start the car in neutral or park. I did this. 3 times the car started sputtered and stopped. Sputtered and stopped. Horns blasting, I had to get out of harms way to avoid a colilsion. I could have been killed. I jeopardized the safety and the life or lives of others on the highway. I will never be the same after this traumatic near accident. Hyundai Manufacturer knew of this defect in March 2024 and sold the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Conception this car any way on [redacted] 2024. Negligence....... Negligence. Shame on the dealer ship of Sport Hyundai of Egg harbor, NJ.

Brakes

I bought a used 2024 Hyundai Venue with 3k miles on Nov 2nd, 2024 from Hyundai Bel Air, MD. On Nov 6th, 2024 I dropped my son at the bus stop in our neighbourhood. When I got out from the parking lot (we dropped him at our church's parking lot) and drove the car, the steering wheel was stiff and when I applied the brake it went out. I had to steer the car to the curb to stop it. It stopped but caused one of the wheel flat and its fender fell off. We called the dealer and after a few arguments they tow our car to their body shop. The Service Department's people said two different things. One person said they couldn't inspect the car unless it was repaired which is should repaired by our insurance. The 2nd person said (few minutes later) that they checked the car and nothing wrong with the brakes. They basically said not responsible for it and asked us to report it to the insurance. …
