The heads-up display, all warning signs and the instrument cluster showing the speed unpredictably goes off - sometimes comes back on right away, sometimes doesn't for hours. The car is available if needs to be reviewed. One cannot know the speed of the vehicle without the speedometer, warning signs turn on & off randomly impairing one to judge the actual warnings, the blind-spot cameras that usually are visible on the instrument cluster cannot be seen, the randomized turning off of the HUD and instrument cluster mid-drive causes a great deal of distraction to the driver. Three services done so far - in last one they found the associated codes with the issue but could not duplicate the case. Inspected by the manufacturer. No particular warning signs - happens randomly and all warning signs turn on randomly too without any actual warning.

I recently purchased this car and just took it on our first highway trip of about 1100 miles. I experienced Three Problems that are a safety concern. 1. "Need to take a Coffee Break Notification." This comes on frequently and is distracting. No need to have that come on. When driving in heavy traffic at speed, this is too distracting. There is no way to turn it off. 2. Camera focused on the driver. If I take a drink from my water bottle, looking around the water bottle to see the road, the camera can not see my face/eyes. It then shuts off my cruise control, makes a noise, scares my wife, and distracts me from driving. This has happened to me in heavy urban traffic going through cities on my last trip. 3. The cruise control is linked to communication from outside the car. …

On [redacted], my 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid displayed a red dashboard alert instructing me to "stop vehicle and check brake system." The vehicle experienced brake system warnings and a loss of power steering, requiring me to pull over. I immediately contacted Hyundai through the Bluelink system, and the Bluelink operator confirmed that multiple fault codes were visible in Hyundai's system. I scheduled a Hyundai service appointment at the next available date. On [redacted], before the scheduled service appointment could occur, the vehicle experienced a sudden and total electrical failure while traveling at highway speed (approximately 65 mph). The vehicle lost propulsion and displayed brake system warnings. After reaching the shoulder, the vehicle also lost hazard lights while disabled in heavy rain. …

While driving, my entire dash will go black. At times, all warning lights will also light up. There is no way to know how fast I am going since the display shuts down. Heads Up Display also goes out with warnings as well. With all warning lights coming on, there is no way to know if there is truly an issue with the car. The car was taken to the dealership and the cluster was replaced. This did not fix the problem. The car is now back at a dealership with no answers. I do have a case opened with Hyundai as well. Case # 41048985. I am a part of a Facebook group were an additional 19 people have also said they have experienced the same issues. There seems to be no real concern from Hyundai. Safety Risk - speed visibility, warning lights, overall safe operation Problem as been confirmed by the dealership No issues with the vehicle prior to this

On June 30, 2026, at approximately 8:45 AM, I was driving my 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid on the freeway with cruise control set at 74 mph. While driving, the vehicle displayed a message that cruise control had been disabled. As the vehicle began slowing down, I pressed the accelerator pedal, but the gas pedal did not respond. I had to carefully move over to the right as the vehicle continued slowing, then pull over to the side of the road. Fortunately, there was a safe place available for me to pull over. After stopping, I turned off the engine, waited approximately one minute, then restarted the vehicle. After restarting, the vehicle operated normally again. I contacted Hyundai. They stated there was no specific update for this exact issue, but they did advise that there was an update for the steering cluster. I have completed that update.

The Driver Attention Warning continues to go off shutting the cruise control off. This happens continuously and is a safety issue when driving in traffic and the vehicle suddenly decelerates. This causes traffic behind you to almost reared you because the vehicle decelerates so quickly. Hyundai suggests to move seat, not to wear glasses and other options that in themselves are additional safety concerns as seat positioning and glasses are needed for driving. So far my car has had the sensor located on top of the steering column shimmed up, and wiring harness replaced all to no satisfactory conclusion. Hyundai is aware of the issue, but has no solution to the issue. I've been in a loaner for almost 2 months while they string me along looking for a solution. Something needs to be done to fix this safety concern.

I was driving my new 2025 Tucson on a 2400 mile trip. On the way back the entire dashboard went black and I got a big red notice. No signal. Could not see anything. No speedometer no nothing after while a black screen went away and I got the regular screen back but it had all of the fault lights lit up. This happened periodically through the whole trip. In addition, the heads up display worked periodically only. And I could not use the cruise control as it kept telling me that it couldn't see my eyes. Although I did not have any glasses on at the time. I feel very unsafe with this car. It is at the dealership waiting for new wiring harness but as I see in social media this has happened to many other people. I think this is something you should know about.

Cannot use any driver assistance features while wearing sunglasses (even the lightest lens). I have macular degenation and this affects my future vision. I either can't wear sunglasses (which my eye doctor says are a MUST) or cannot use cruise control or driver assistance features with them. This was not disclosed prior to car purchase and Hyundai claims it is to guard against drivers falling asleep. Unlikely in daylight and if cruise control and distance WAS being used and someone fell asleep it would slow the car down rather than crashing into something full speed. This flaw DOES affect my safety and that have eye issues. Everyone should wear sunglasses during the day to protect their eyes. Please have Hyundai rectify this!

The Driver Attention Warning is a dangerous feature that can't be turned off. It is constantly going off requiring that I take my eyes off the road to see why it chimed. I am a Disabled Veteran with an eye condition that requires me to wear very dark glasses in bright sunlight. The car is not drivable with my glasses on as the camera can't see my eyes. I was almost involved in a serious accident on I459. As I drove between an 18 wheeler and another SUV a red light on the dash and a message flashed that stated "Regain control of the car". The system slammed on the brakes which caused the car behind me to almost hit me at 70mph. This occurred in heavy traffic at approximately 8:30 AM. I almost lost control of my SUV.
