Passenger visor failed a few months ago. Driver visor failed shortly after (around 60,000 miles). This appears to be a known problem with Hyundai's manufactured after 2007. Dealer would charge $176 per visor, but absorb the cost of installation. One passenger banged her head when getting in the car. Driver's visor has fallen on my head several times -- a hazard in my opinion.

I own a 2007 Hyundai Elantra. I have had 3 door handles break on this vehicle. The first two were on the passenger side and broke off in the summer 2 yrs ago, within a month of each other. They were covered by warranty and repaired after a small fight with the dealership. The last one broke in February of this year. The vehicle has been garaged every night, no matter the weather. I've never had more than one door handle break on all the cars I've ever owned; and that car only had one handle break! Hyundai says they won't fix the latest broken one, since I am out of warranty. I know the door handles have all broken in exactly the same place each time. The part of the handle that holds the handle onto the car is made of plastic, and the inside of that part breaks at exactly the same place. …
