So the part that is a malfunction is the rear doors weren't made with any child lock and of course one of my kids opened the door while i was driving on the highway.I have a 3 and 5 year old and it scared me so bad I had to hurry and pull the hummer over and park and just held my son. I couldn't even drive after that because of how bad it traumatized me. My mom had to come get and take me and my kids home and drive my hummer back home. Even though we didn't crash or one of my kids didn't fall out.it's still a very serious safety hazard. I reached out to gm to see what my options were and there response was how gm made child locks in 2007 and up and that's not the truth because mine is a 2007 and it clearly doesn't have child locks. Then they later proceeded to tell me I should just sell my vehicle. …
i was driving my hummer on the highway about 45 miles an hour when i felt somthing poped and the back started to sway back and forth so i startted slowing down and i was all over the road came to a stop on side of the road looked underneath and my drivers side wheel was all the way back against the body looked up and the frame had broken off and the spring in back also broke off rusted and the so called frame was so thin no wander it rusted why so thin they should be held accountable for making unsafe frame like this if i would have been on interstate beside a semi or other cars im shure me and others would have lost our lives no doubt i am very pissed about this i got my friend to bring trailer hauld home so now what junk or what i want them to fix it and loaner why they do.
I keep getting a code that states that my truck runs with a low engine temperature. Plus my truck has had a leak from some where around the lower windshield that is causing electrical problems and soaking wet floors! We had a mechanic look for the leak and try to fix this issue but was unable to find the problem and we were also told by a few dealership that they have seen a lot of H3 hummers with the same problem! Also we are having issues that causes the traction signal to come on regularly and it causes my truck to lock up. It has almost caused us to wreck several times! It's very scary to drive my Hummer! Every time we have any of these problems we are always in motion and it's always on the highway when we are driving at higher speeds. It never seems to happen while driving around town!! This has been continuing going on ever since we purchased this vehicle in August 2014

I bought this vehicle used approximately 7 years ago. I was taking my vehicle through an automated car wash and the hood vent came completely off. I noticed there was a recall in 2010 concerning this part but I never got notification. When I look up by my VIN, it states no recalls. Why not? I noticed it was loose at one lower corner and already had discussed fixing it with the body shop. I need the hood vent replaced now since it tore the latches loose from the top.
Tl* the contact owns a 2007 Hummer H3. The contact stated that water was leaking from the moon roof onto the floor carpet, driver and passenger seats, and door panels. The failure caused mold buildup. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the drain that traveled under the moon roof clogged up and needed to be cleaned. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 43,000.
Tl* the contact owns a 2007 Hummer H3. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired two years ago per NHTSA campaign number: 10V179000 (structure). While driving approximately 55 MPH, the hood louver rattled against the hood and became loose, causing the hood louver to detach from the vehicle. The dealer and manufacturer were not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 160,000.
The tubular frame had what looks like cold slugs welds at several joint locations that allowed water to enter and rust from the inside out. The frame can be pushed through with a finger. The frame springs broke while driving down the road dropping the fuel tank through the gas tank causing a fire hazard.
